If you dont play main chars you miss special events. I make my own story like being the last Numenorian and reviving the race for example. Or an Elf from the time of the two trees that takes over Lorien and later the world, the 10th nazgul that broke away from Sauron and seeks vengeance - very hard because you are undead and people hate you even when you convert faith.
