Carno's are dropping Ark Items which is normail and rare. It's the list of items and what gets dropped. Not Alemia Items.

Berries, Ark Metal tools, Clothe Armor, etc...

Got a Ark Baisc Metal Pick Axe - Not an Alemia Item and it does not work on anything. Tested it agains the Metal Rocks - nothing doesnt even damage it.

Maybe dino drops need adjusting. Or replaced with Alemia Versions - because Alemia Metal tools would be very helpful and make it worth it to hunt down specific dinos to try and get that loot. Would also help when you are struggling to get resources with stone tools. Getting lucky with a carno or raptor kill would be a beautiful thing.

The berries that you get from some dino kills are Ark Stock - Not Alemia. Eatable. Not sure if you plan on replacing them with some of the Alemia Berries.

Not making demands. Just poitning out it is a problem. Haven't excountered an Alpha, but if it drops higher level items that are worthless - axe, pick, etc... that will be sad.

Work around if you didn't want to redo dino drop list is a table or similar for converting ark items to Alemia items?
