Class/Species Overview: Archon
- The Archon has three specializations. Strafe is all about aggressive flanking maneuvers, staying mobile and avoiding enemy fire. Air Strike plays the Archon to their advantage of flight, both via height advantage shots and making them even better at using Blazing Pinions. Chopper is your melee build. Compared to the Muton Trooper's own melee specialization, the Archon is more comparible to the LWOTC Shinobi on the offense side of things, but can't counter enemy melee or impair targets.

- At Squaddie rank, Archons have Battle Frenzy, Turbo Boost and Blazing Pinions. The Blazing Pinions they start with has a 3-turn cooldown, but they can remove that cooldown by taking the Serious Bomber ability later on. Their Defense and Dodge stats are both high, and their melee damage is incredibly potent.

- Due to their unique movement mechanics, Archons may have trouble keeping up with the squad if you're changing elevation a lot. The Turbo Boost ability can help alleviate this.

- Although their durability isn't as high as a Berserker's or Andromedon's, the Battle Frenzy ability and their ability to avoid attacks makes them good front liners.

- Blazing Pinions doesn't shred armor and its damage isn't that high; its main purpose is destroying enemy cover. Taking the Omen ability also makes it non-turn ending even if you dash with it, letting you use it as a pseudo Run And Gun.

- Archons are so absolutely insane that they don't seem to care how injured they are, and can be deployed into combat regardless of their health.

- Archons cannot equip grenades.

There's an audio bug that plays their jet sound indefinitely when the Archon is viewed in the armory. Reloading removes the sound until the Archon is viewed again.
