- Download the mod
- Open finder window
- Go to the "go to tab"
- scroll down to "go to folder" selection
- type (Without quotes) "~/Library"
- in library, find Application Support
- Find steam>common>team fortress 2>tf>custom
- Custom should exist for you
- Open the mod folder, and if not extracted, extract it
- Open the Replacement_Models folder in spy_fancyknife (The mod folder that you downlaoded)
- Select the item you wish to replace, and place the corresponding .VPK file in the "custom" folder mentioned in step 7
- go back into spy_fancyknife (regular mod folder)
- take the spy_fancyknife_Materials.vpk and move it into the custom folder
- It should work! Worked for me, have fun!
P.S. I only did this because i thought some mac users might have trouble doing this, and when you search "steam" or "common" or something else in the mac "EVERYTHING" search, you do not find it so i found out. :)
I will add it right away. Thanks :)
If you're on a Windows 64 bit machine, try C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam.
