[Tutorial] How to properly install the mod
I saw many of you having issues installing the mod, so here's a guide on how to properly install it.
1-Download the mod (obviously)
2-Browse to your Steam folder (default: C:\Program Files\Steam), then go to steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/custom
3-(optional) If the "custom" folder is not there, create it.
4-Open/extract the mod's .zip file and open the Replacement_Models folder
5-Select the item you wish to replace, and place the corresponding .VPK file in the "custom" folder mentioned in step 2
6-Along with the .VPK file for the model you wish to replace, extract spy_fancyknife_Materials.VPK in the "custom" folder as well.
7-Fire up the game and have fun!

For Mac users (thanks to FsGxMeNtaI):
1- Download the mod
2- Open finder window
3- Go to the "go to tab"
4- scroll down to "go to folder" selection
5- type (Without quotes) "~/Library"
6- in library, find Application Support
7- Find steam>common>team fortress 2>tf>custom
8- Custom should exist for you
9- Open the mod folder, and if not extracted, extract it
10- Open the Replacement_Models folder in spy_fancyknife (The mod folder that you downloaded)
11- Select the item you wish to replace, and place the corresponding .VPK file in the "custom" folder mentioned in step 7
12- go back into spy_fancyknife (regular mod folder)
13- take the spy_fancyknife_Materials.vpk and move it into the custom folder

Installing this mod while TF2 is running won't work. You have to quit TF2 in order to install it.
If you had any other previous mods for the knife you're replacing, make sure to delete them or they will conflict!

If you have any problems/questions, post 'em below.

I had to figure out this myself because i am on mac, so if you are on mac, follow these instructions (And author, please add this to your directions for mac :))

1- Download the mod
2- Open finder window
3- Go to the "go to tab"
4- scroll down to "go to folder" selection
5- type (Without quotes) "~/Library"
6- in library, find Application Support
7- Find steam>common>team fortress 2>tf>custom
8- Custom should exist for you
9- Open the mod folder, and if not extracted, extract it
10- Open the Replacement_Models folder in spy_fancyknife (The mod folder that you downlaoded)
11- Select the item you wish to replace, and place the corresponding .VPK file in the "custom" folder mentioned in step 7
12- go back into spy_fancyknife (regular mod folder)
13- take the spy_fancyknife_Materials.vpk and move it into the custom folder
14- It should work! Worked for me, have fun!

P.S. I only did this because i thought some mac users might have trouble doing this, and when you search "steam" or "common" or something else in the mac "EVERYTHING" search, you do not find it so i found out. :)

I have tried this 5 times and it isn't working. I downloaded the mod, then I moved the zip folder to the custom folder, and extracted the knife and spycicle, but it still isn't working. I am on windows (I don't know if that would make a difference) If anyone can help me PLEASE do I really want the blade! Thanks!

We cannot. This knife uses different animations from the stock knife/black rose.

Are you on Windows or Mac?
If you're on a Windows 64 bit machine, try C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam.
