Not going to lie, these ideas aren't perfect, but it makes sense to me. I don't really see justification for there being a damage increase or penalty due to it just being a regular shotgun. It makes sense to me for it to be either more "accurate" due to the laser sight.

When an enemy is within a certain distance of you, you gain an effect called "Nervous" or something similar. It negates all the good effects of the weapon execpt the laser pointer and part of the bleed (Bleed lasts for one second) and instead you are 50% less accurate with all weapons and deal 15% less damage with your sentry, and reload 20% slower.
Great for long-range harrasment, and for getting rid of spies with the bleed. Not as good for cramped spaces, so you need to use it in wide-open spaces.

30% wider spread than stock shotgun, but 60% less dammage.
20% less ammo no carrier/user.
If it only has 1 shot then you won't be reloading.
