How to install the mod version
This is just for those that have no idea how to install VPK mod files.

1) Download the mod

2) Browse to your Steam folder (default: C:\Program Files\Steam), then go to steamapps/common/team fortress 2/tf/custom

3) If the "custom" folder is not there, create it.

4) Open/extract the mod's .zip file and go through the folders until you reach the two VPKs

5) Pick one of the two. Either the one to replace the stock pistoil or the Luger

6) After you've decided which you want to replace, place the VPK file in the "custom" folder mentioned in step 2

7) Boot up the game, and the mod should work.

in the gamebanana website, where do you click in order to download the mod, thats the only problem i face, the other steps can be managed

The big green button that says "DOWNLOAD" click that. Its right before the comments section.

oh wait, after i click the green button, it leads me to another website, thats where i dont find another button to download (well there is but it wont start downloading...)

On gamebanana? If you clicked the downlaod button should have downaloded.

Check your downlaods folder on your computer and look for the gamma gazer rar file there.

i have a question HOW DO I GET TO THE TF FOLDER I WENT INTO THE TEAM FORTRESS 2 FOLDER LOOKED FOR HOURS AND COULDENT FIND IT WHERE IS THE TF FOLDER

Your are looking in the common/team fortress 2/ folder directory correct? The /tf/ folder should be there, other wise your game would not work at all.

well im in the tf2 common folder and here are the onlythings in it bin chache config hl2 maps and platforms thats all in my folder

I booted up the game and its nothing. Did all steps and all when i checked the custom folder its there but not in TF2. HELP!!

Mr. FiveEyes,
If I were to install this skin / mod for the stock Pistol, would it replace the Scout's default pistol as well as the Engineer's? Both the Scout and the Engineer use the same pistol, so I'm wondering if it would break or something if used with the Scout.

It replaces both
