Mod Jam for LWOTC (OLD, UNSUPPORTED)

Changes to Advent Psi Ops
- Loot table changes all around.
  • The Phase Drone now drops its corpse 100% of the time (was previously 50%).
  • The Wraith Commando now has the same drops as the Advent Stun Lancer.
  • The Raptor Commando now has the same drops as the Advent Sniper (which will require that mod, make sure you grab it).
  • The Destroyer Commando now has the same drops as the Advent Priest (this one specifically may change in the future).
- Nerfs across the board to environmental damage with melee and guns. The Phase Drone's Micro Missile is untouched in this regard.

- The Destroyer Commando's Psi Pull now has to do an aim roll, just like a Skirmisher's Justice ability.

- Scamper AI nerfs, because standard shots and standard melee attacks on XCOM's turn can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leave.
  • The Wraith Commando will always run to cover.
  • The Raptor Commando will either run to cover or use Raptor Jump.
  • The Destroyer Commando will either run to cover or cast shields.
  • Phase Drone is unchanged.

Note that Yellow Alert is still a thing, and they may attack you on activation if it's Advent's turn.

- The Wraith Vest has been overhauled!
  • It no longer randomly drops from M1 and M2 Wraith Commandos. It can now be built in Engineering after finishing the Wraith Vest project in the Proving Grounds.
  • The Wraith Vest project costs 40 Supplies, 7 Alien Alloys, 1 Elerium Core, and 1 Phase Drone Wreck to start. It's unlocked after the Hybrid Materials, Wraith Suit, and Phase Drone Autopsy researches. You'll also need 7 Engineers and 7 Scientists.
  • A Wraith Vest costs 30 Supplies, 5 Alien Alloys, 3 Elerium Dust, and 1 Phase Drone Wreck to build in Engineering once the project is done.
  • The Wraith Vest no longer has Lightning Reflexes, and instead grants Melee Resistance (-2 damage from all melee attacks). Its bonus HP has been bumped up to 2 from 1, and instead of panic immunity it now grants fire immunity, Chryssalid poison immunity and knockback immunity. Wall Phasing is unchanged.
  • Also offers a small infiltration bonus.

- WraithMeleeResistance has a localization now, and the Wraith Vest has a new localization.

- Psi Commando immunities are made transparent to the player through a new ability.

Any plans to adjust either the ADVENT Psi Ops' starting force level or at least the Destroyer Commando's Psi "Ripjack" ability? ATM its range and accuracy is absurdly high and it's basically a guaranteed kill on any soldier snagged by it in the early game.

I didn't have plans, but I could mess with Psi Pull.

I introduced a Psi Pull change with the Purge Priests update.

Do the sustain abilities have the same behavior as LWOTC advent priests ? In LWOTC compared to WOTC, Priests will fail to spring the shield if they are overkilled considerably, the more damage they will take that would have otherwise killed them, the smaller the chance for sustain to activate.

That's going to depend on how LWOTC implemented this change, whether it's tied to the Sustain ability itself, or to the Advent Priest. I'll ask the LWOTC devs about that.

Edit: I found out how it worked. Right now, Raptor Commandos are not affected by this change, but they will be affected by it when I do the next Mod Jam update, which should be today.

Not sure if its this one or the warlock, but the stunstrike needs to have its disorientation either completely removed (Having your soldier being kicked out of cover when you are facing + 9 enemies is already more than enough) or only relegated to one turn only, not three.

That one you're referring to is from the Raptor Commando. I'm not sure yet about that change, I'll probably pitch it to some folks on the LWOTC Discord. If you want to change it in your own game immediately though, you can open up Advent Psi Ops' XComACData.ini in its Config folder (not Mod Jam's), and scroll to the very bottom. You will see a line that says RAPTOR_PSISTRIKE_DISORIENTED_DURATION = 3 in which you can change the '3' to '1'.

Thanks, i will nerf it myself in meantime, the tree turn flashbang is quite excessive for me when its combined with possible shove out of cover.
