Please vote for the feature you would like most in the next major update of this mod, here:

I will announce the most popular feature by this time, tomorrow.
I hope to release a minor update by this weekend. There will be several small enhancements, including the ability to convert dragon skulls to dragon bones at a smelter. This will allow players with the dragon smithing perk to turn a bigger profit by making more dragon plate armor and dragon bone weapons.
So far, no one had reported any bugs. If you do find something doesn't seem to work--for example, if a named dragon or giant doesn't have a skull--pleas report it, here:

Since SteamCommunity.com was down for awhile, today, the voting is extended until 6 PM (EST), today. Results will be announced tomorrow. Your vote counts. Let it be known what features you most want added to the mod.

Thanks to everyone who voted! If you didn't vote, that's OK. Please continue to make requests, as I'm being given some really great ideas. If they don't go in the next major update, I'll put them on the list.
:)
I hope to release an update to Drop Skulls by the end of the week with *some* of the most popular feature requests. The update will have no bug fixes, as no bugs have been reported.
The update will download automatically when your Skyrim game logs into Steam. So you won't have to subscribe to any new mod.
I'll post a new announcement listing the new features when the update is released. Until then, good skull hunting!
I'm a bit overwhelmed by the response to this simple mod. After the first week, there are more than 40,000 different people who viewed the mod, more than 6,800 subscribers and more than 350 positive ratings. I'll be releasing an update, today and more in the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone who left comments and suggestions for improvements. You guys and gals are the best!

6. Add named dragon skulls with unique textures to the death loot for the named dragons in the game (researching ways to accomplish)
7. Hearthfire editon to display skulls in a trophy room (researching ways to accomplish)
8. Dawnguard edition to collect the skulls of frost giants (pending development)
I was able to figure out how to add named dragon skulls to the named dragons of the game, and this feature will be added to the next update. I hope to have it ready before this weekend. After the update installs, any named dragons killed will have in its death loot a named skull with a unique texture, which will make it stand out from the other dragon skulls.
You will not have to do anything different after you kill a named dragon to get its unique skull to add to your collection. When you activate the deceased dragon, the named skull will be in its inventory for you to take as a prize.
For those who have already slayed a named dragon or three, I will provide instructions on how to obtain their named skulls using the command console. Or you may load a save prior to killing the named dragons and have fun collecting their skulls after you kill them, again!
I'll post another announcement when the update with the new feature is released. Until then, good skull hunting!
When released, you will need *both* mods, because the add-on mod will require the latest update of this mod. If you want unique skulls for named dragons, make sure you subscribe to both. Good skull hunting!
