    Version 3.1 Change Log

    Gameplay changes

  • Battle Arena The battle arena to the left of the board has been extended and zones added for battling Pokémon and Battle Items.
  • 3D Models Now, when a Pokémon card is placed on the battle arena, a 3D model of that Pokémon will spawn on the arena. Additionaly, when the Battle dice are rolled, the models will perform a little attacking animation.
  • KO Tokens 4 tokens are now needed to perform a "Miracle Moment!". However, players now do not lose a token whenever they obtain a Gym Badge. The KO tokens have also now been moved next to the Level Up Counters on each side of the board.
  • Pokémon Center Players now only receive 1 PP for using the Pokémon Center, regardless of how many Pokémon they revived.

    Card Changes/Additions

  • New Event cards There are now 5 new Event cards! This means there are now only 2 duplicate cards. So now you're much more likely to draw a different event each time!
  • Road Block Effect has changed. Now players have a potential option to discard the card earlier by sacrificing their PP.
  • Pokémon Breeder Reminder text added to clarify that you CAN still reward your Pokémon with Level Up Counters even if you didn't/couldn't use its first effect of reviving KO'd Pokémon.
  • Nidorina Has a new ability which is different to its counterpart, Nidorino's. By spending PP you can weaken the opposing Pokémon in battle. The effectiveness increases depending on the number of poision types you have!

    Other Changes

  • Layout of the rulebook has changed slightly. Index is now at the front of the book in order to make looking things up a little easier.
    Several more clarifications/corrections made.
  • 2 Blue Pokémon spawning in the Green deck on setup has now been fixed.
