Wayne's Armory Update Announcement + More
Hi! In this post I will show off what I have planned for Wayne 1.3 Update(AKA, “Wayne’s Armory Update”) along with some other announcements. Huh? Why am I acting like this post is a big deal, even though I have less than 10 subscribers at the moment, you ask? Because I like to mod things and I take pride in my mod work you EVIL FORTNITE MAN/WOMAN/NONBINARY REEEEEEEEEEE.

First off, I will show the changes of this update (please note, some of this may be SUBJECT TO CHANGE):

  • Adding Wayne’s Custom Crafting Tab called “Wayne’s Armory”
  • Moving Wayne’s Custom Nightmare Fuel Recipe to the “Wayne’s Armory” tab
  • Wayne’s custom Nightmare Fuel Recipe will net 2 per craft, instead of just one
  • Adding The Spear o’ B.S. [The Spear of Being Sane] (Weapon)
    This spear has a base damage of 15, but will correlate with sanity up to deal damage up to 50 per hit. Has normal spear durability. Costs 1 spear, 3 nightmare fuel, and 3 Bone Shards. Crafted at a Science Machine
  • xXCalmKillerSwordXx (Weapon)
    Has similar stats as the spear, but has a base damage of 35 and a max damage of 77, (Stronger than any base item in the game). I have not thought of an exact durability for this item, but it will be high. Costs 2 Down Feather, 25 Beefalo Fur, 14 Nightmare Fuel and 6 Moon Rock. Crafted at a Magic Sigil.
  • Nolan (Armor)
    Armor Rating Scales with Sanity; Starts with 90% damage absorption when above 75% sanity and drops to zero when below that sanity percentage. Has high Durability compared to Log Suit. Costs 1 Log Suit, 6 Bone Shards, and 3 Nightmare Fuel). Crafted at an Alchemy Engine.
  • Super Nolan (Armor)
    Like the regular sanity armor, but Being above 75% sanity will allow the armor to absorb ALL damage and will drop proportionally to sanity from 100% damage absorption when below 75 sanity. Costs 1 Dragon Scale, 1 Thick Fur, 1 Sanity Armor, and 14 Nightmare Fuel. Has Very High Durability. (Still need to determine what amount as well)
  • Mind-craft Bandage (Healing Item)
    Heals lost health depending on sanity percentage (Lost Health * Sanity), Costs 2 Spider Glands, 4 Silk, and 5 Nightmare Fuel. Crafted at an Alchemy Engine.
  • Everson’s Bandana (Hat Item)
    Reduces Negative Sanity Auras and Negative Sanity Penalties by Half. Restores 1.34 Sanity per minute (That’s .01 more sanity per minute than the Garland!) Degrades over time. Costs 12 Flower Petals. Available to Wayne at the start of the world.
  • Wayne will lose more sanity from ALL Sanity decreasing sources (like eating bad food or using wormholes)
  • Wayne’s Max Sanity will decrease to 120, (just to make it easier to tell what defense vulnerability stage he is at)
  • Wayne’s Survival Chance changed to “Slim”
  • New Character Portrait
  • And of course: updating more quotes

I am hoping to get this update released before the end of April, but there is a possibility that it may take longer.

Next I will discuss my future plans for this mod:

  • I will be making Wayne the Experiment compatible for Don’t Starve, Don’t Starve Shipwrecked, and Don’t Starve Hamlet, so he could be played anywhere.
  • This is NOT CONFIRMED YET but I have some designs for skins for Wayne. (Like a Gamer Skin, A College Student Skin, A Triumphant Skin (kinda), and a Survivor Skin). I am not sure if all or any of these will be made into skins, but I like the idea and it could be used to help me improve my skills as an artist.
  • There are no more planned major changes to Wayne’s stats, unless if I will need an overhaul of his stats

And finally, my second biggest announcement I will make:

I will be working on an entirely new modded character!!
What will this character be like? Well, I am not ready to show off everything yet, but I can confirm a few things:
  • This character is female
  • Her character will have the same Human Experiment Theme
  • Her lore is related to Wayne
  • Her name will have a W and a Y in it. (Which will be a theme I will be attempting, if I make anymore character mods)
  • Her design will be associated with the color pink

I do have all of her stats fully planned out for now, but I would like to work on the mod a bit before I show everything off.
