Escaping the final room.
This would be a comment, but since I own Black Mesa through family share, I can't.

Anyway, I was able to escape from the final room using the 3 barrels in the room where the security guard gets killed by an alien grunt. This revealed some holes in the terrain, as well as the hole in the wall Gman is hiding in, where you can endlessly beat him with a crowbar.
Also, the Gargantua showed up when I shot and killed the scientist, but instead of breaking through the door or something, it just phased through it.

I suppose the choice here would be to either remove the barrels to prevent the escape, or embrace it and add a fade to black after escaping that shows a different end status than "Burned to a crisp."

nothing added yet, PLEASE ADD THIS AS A CANNON ENDING. and also you can even get up to where the guard is, grab the top barrel as you climb up, then get over to the server panel things? next to the 3rd farthest away from where you're meant to be window, hop up there and break the window. you can interact with the guard, cause the scripted breaking and dust effects (repeatably) early by damaging him (without triggering big boy to come)
