Rogues's NPC Wep's Panel (INFO)
Added this in the latest update.

From the spawn Menu look to the right and there should be the panel tab for it.

Allows you to change the following:

Enable Squad Assignment - When enabled the next NPCs spawned will be in a squad. Citizens/Rebels run on differrent squads than Combine/Metropolice. Squads will share information on enemies, cover each other, etc. I recommend no more than 8 NPCs per squad.

Squad Number - Squad that npcs are currently being assigned to.(Up to ten on each side)

Muzzle Effects - Turns off the GDCW muzzle effects (Helps with performance) Some Models have built in muzzle effects but they are not costly on performance.

Enable Combine Grenades - Enables Combine Soldiers that have the Grenade throw animation to use grenades. How many grenades they get is dependant on the class of gun they are using.

Enable Metropolice Manhacks - Lets Metropolice that have the animation for depolying Manhacks, well, deploy manhacks. Default is one manhack per NPC but pistols and shotguns give Metropolice two.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enhanced Acc. Settings(Serverside)
Made a new accuracy system as the old one wasn't very accurate. To balance the accuracy, damage has been reduced.(Can be changed). NPCs will lose accuracy when running while shooting.

Enable Enhanced Accuracy System - Enables the system(takes effect in real time)

Weapon Proficiency - (0 is poor, 4 is Perfect) Lets you choose how accurate the next NPC spawned will be. The new system accuracy is more dependant on the gun rather than being cookie cut. A LMG on very good proficiency is not the same has a assault rifle with the same.

Damage Level - Scales the damage that the guns will do with the system enabled. (1 is low damage, 5 is High) Changes take effect in real time.

About the weapon proficiency, I have something to point out. When I placed the weapon Proficiency all the way to 4, ALL rifles have the same accuracy as with an SMG and one LMG (M249). Is it possible for either you or me to adjust the system more to make them (Mostly Rifles) more accurate? Thanks.

You open the spawn menu or default key c (I forget what its function was called) and go tot he top-left. Click the NPC's and go to weapon overide.

It would seem, at least for me, as if the Enhanced Acc. Settings as well as the General Settings do not save between map load.

Is there something I'm missing? Or could this be some small issue?

Thanks for this addon! I'm currently experianced an issue though, which is when I go to Enhanced Acc. Settings, it only shows the weapon proficiency, not damage level or anything else. Any help?

soo, im confused on the whole squad assignment thing. It doesnt seem to be doing anything. I put 3 soldiers in a squad together, and put one a few meters fome the others. i put a soldier by that one, and the other two just sat there.

Putting them into a squad only improves their AI when in combat. They share info on targets, fight more intelligently (sort of) and are much less likely to friendly fire on each other than before.

The way squadding works is built into the engine itself, you can read more about it here for more info.

Can you please improve the max weapon proficiency? The perfect setting is far from perfect. I think the aim should be near player-like. (But not too much to make sniper rifles obselete.) I play GMod alone so when I do gunfights, I like to think of the NPCs as real players.

And it's also a consistency issue. Close quarters, max damage, they could easily kill me in a second. Medium range (about 1000 hammer units), still max damage, I'd die of old age. :P

If you think that this will effect others and they might not like it, they can always use the lower settings. I seriously don't use the lower settings because, well, they are way too low. (For me.)

Thanks, and thanks again for creating this mod in the first place!

I've also noticed this issue for a long time since I first subscribed to this addon. I too would love it if you may enhance the proficiency on the weapons based by value, IF you have the motivation and/or time to do this of course. No rush :)

On an additional note, thank you for updating the NPC Weapon pack 2. It's been a while since we've heard from you. Have you been?
