Cattrina, this mod is amazing! I love it in nomadic playthroughs so far. It blends into the world as though it's base game. I have an all-hive playthrough with it now with our vulnerable playable queen riding on top.
Balance & Features (Mongrel)
I recommend a balance pass for one squad entry in one specific location. That Mongrel HQ squad entry wipes deathyard nests and then keeps going!
This is the Mongrel HQ entry in FCS (Faction>Squads>Mongrel HQ>housemates).
They start in the town as you'd expect. They patrol outside of Mongrel and fight deathyard nests themselves with pretty high success rates.
I haven't seen them lose or be captured yet in vanilla Foglands or Hivers Expanded foglands with its armored fogmen.
They fit well in Mongrel thematically and I wanna keep them. For my own balancing, I turned off just that one Mongrel HQ entry so that outcast and shinobi vs. fogmen dynamics are preserved.
It might be that their pathing or aggression needs limiting to within Mongrel's walls.
I've come here using Project Kathun modpack. (seems totally compatible so far)
but unfortunately it has vehicles bugged and unfinished (*under redevelopment..) and separate mod for speederbikes (yay!) and millenium falcons (w00t) as rideable mounts didn't work well for me.
Also there's a boats mod with ATV Hover-boat which is pretty awesome and kinda fits star wars-inspired atmosphere...
but I love Kenshi's bulls and finally decided to try out THIS mod. :)
And it's much better then I've expected (many beta-beta-beta words limited my expectations)
Long story short.... mod is awesome. Bulls are awesome. (^ *_* ^)
Although I haven't yet fully tried them, because my two new bulls were instantly nuked by Clan Nymyon Mandalorian Sith (sic!) who raided one of bullriders village.
He even chopped of one's "left hand" so I gave my bull a Tinfinst hand lol. Don't know how it will work because he's 5k seconds away from waking up now...
Also somewhy bullriders were at war with Sheks and Berserks. Those two gave them some hard times but I've helped and left some guards there. But I think their own guards should be buffed up to be able to defend themselvs from nasty neighbours.
I've started researches and crafting and haven't understood this mods tech and crafting tree yet.
And just built everything what I can lol
Maybe it would be good to have it here in discussions..? Under spoilers or not.
What is metal sault and how can I get it..? *I might find out myself before (if) you reply but thanks for help in advance anyway :)
