War Drum

This is unrealistic and let me tell you why.
So you see that drum in the front and how it's at the very end of the place where bullets come out? Well that's not good because the way a pump action shotgun works is the shot goes into the bottom piece just in front of the trigger's guard, thus you push it into the bottom cylinder, you pump the fore end and the shot will be pushed back and up into the top barrel, and when you squeeze the trigger back it hits the back of the shot, igniting the shot and blasting it forward out of the gun. If you have the shells loaded into a drum you defeat the purpose of having a pump. But let's disregard the pumping even, let's just say you were to have a drum. The drum being on the very front of the barrel means that the rest of the barrel has that needle that punctures the shot all the way through it. And even if that needle never breaks or bends from having to be so far into the barrel, the shot would just fly about as soon as it left, with the spread being so ridiculous that point blank firing would be the only option. I don't mean to tell you how to run your fantasies, and there are a lot of elements to this game that are unlike real life, but this gun design has too much wrong with it from the standpoint of someone with a minimal knowledge on guns.

Please change the gun a bit more so it works like a real gun. I love the idea of a drum loading shotgun, and I think this design would be a good idea if they gave the soldier an option to have a swift reload like the Syringe Gun or Revolvers with a trade off of less damage and slower firing. If you heed my words, I suggest taking the pump out, due to, well, I already spoke about the function of a pump, so you should know by now.

No, don't be stupid.

Tf2 is 100% form over function.
