Pros:
  • Map design was interesting and consistent in tone/theming.
  • Map flow was pretty good, never got lost.
  • Well balanced on the amount and frequency of supplies, throwables, and weapons.
  • Interesting, custom wall text.
  • Brutal, but fair for the most part.
  • The bell ringing, with the sound effect, as an explanation for the (non-event) hordes was a great bit.

Cons:
  • A bit of stutter/weird camera adjustment in the opening cinematic.
  • I never got why the bell was ringing? I guess it was haunted but I didn't find that clear.




Some other notes that I didn't get to or that were more subjective:
  • I didn't like the haunted house vibe the map was going for. It wasn't offensive or distracting but, for the most part, a lot of the scares or flashes were barely seen due to having to focus on zombies. Some of the effects were pretty goofy as well. Some were interesting, like some floating objects (in a technical appreciation sense).
  • The Tank coming out of the painting of a Tank was a neat touch, even if I (even as someone who hasn't played this before) immediately called it when we entered that room.
  • In the finale chase, we got the music for a Tank but it never showed up. Don't know what was up with that.
  • I hate Gauntlet Crescendo events, but I thought the final chase was actually rather well done, it didn't feel like there was a literal tide of enemies swarming you from the front and resources were decently available along the route for quick boosts.
  • I hated the Steeple Gauntlet Crescendo.

El mapa es una mierda, tiene bugs como en el primer mapa en las escaleras el personaje se queda colgando, terribles bugs ojala lo arreglen 1/5

Thanks for the review. The bell tolling is actually to announce when a mob of zombies is coming. It's kind of weird though: I programmed it to go off 10 seconds before a mob is spawned, but doesn't seem to always work as intended.
My biggest frustration is the finale. Although it's no longer completely broken as it was before, I still feel it's not what I wanted it to be.

Because the bell's haunted or something, I don't know. Just loved the sound of an ominous bell going off before a horde :-)
I intended the finale to be a rolling one, like The Parish, nothing more. But the nav kept breaking so I started using a custom script but you'll notice that even in it's current form, the horde isn't intense enough and I tried so many different things to make it better, but it's not really working.
