Conquering Fogeaters
So my empire is slowly getting eaten by the fogeaters. A popup says that my counties will be permanently lost due to the fog but there is a declare war option on the fogeaters.
My question is : can I take back those counties? Or am I doomed to get eaten by the Fogeaters?
Thanks for reading! :crusader_helmet:

You can take them back via declaring war and winning, but they are still in the fog, with all the associated (massive) penalties. They won't produce any meaningful income or levies while under fog, so they are pretty much gone (until a future update allows us to clear the fog?).

Isn't that what purge region (Life Magic) is for? Clearing the fog?

Nope, once the fog is there there is no way to remove it. The only way for your empire to survive is to march south.

Fog ate my south as well. There is nowhere you can hide.

I actually wish there was some shield magic, or set of events that would help protect people from the fog.

Check out mixed magic I think there is a spell to stop the fog. But you can't make it go away, only stop it's expension.
