Report a translation problem
I only solo, so I mainly focus on the DPS of the character
So far I only played
- Noel (until Day 50+)
- Calli (after ruin rush, before lunar island)
- Fubuki (modify counter's damage reduction and damage multiplier, slightly OP from default setting) (until Day 36)
- Kronii (after ruin rush)
- Suisei (after ruin rush)
- Mumei (modify Terror damage buff to 200%) (after ruin rush)
Overpoweredness towards Boss (Based on killing Dragonfly on Day 11)
- Noel: using hambat. Dodge is quite difficult as the attack animation is slower, but very tanky, overall is ok
- Calli: Scythe with full souls, overpowered for sure
- Fubuki: spend 4-5 wooden katana + counter, quite ok (need to kill spider or werepig (by feeding pigman 4 monster meats) to level up to lvl 6 before the fight, after that you will jump to lvl 9), once getting Fubuki's katana, boss fight is easy with counter
- Kronii: Using Hambat, start the fight in 1/4 of the day (already x1.0 damage multiplier), carefully dodge when the next day coming (I wear helmet + armor for double protection), it is a little bit OP (Also I use wood armour and spear, kill Eye of Terror in 2 nights only)
- Suisei: Phychopath mode with gold axe, spamming F key to attack faster, not really good as your finger will be tired XXD
- Mumei: using Hambat, throwing dagger to get damage buff, but the thrown dagger size on ground is small, quite hard to retrieve it back, overall is ok, only a little bit faster than Wilson
Overpoweredness towards mobs (Based on speed on cleaning multiple lvl 1 / lvl 2 spider den in forest)
- Neol: tankiness does not help much, plus slower attack animation causing dodge is still a problem, but save resources in making helmet/armor
- Calli: easy cleaning, one/two shot a spider
- Fubuki: need learn to counter a group of spider, but it is very effective, can deal with 5+ spiders at a time
- Kronii: kill mobs in dusk with spear under x1.5+ damage multiplier, quite easy
- Suisei: Axe is cheap weapon, killing the spiders can offset the sanity lost, using psychopath mode can clear a few lvl 1 spider den quite fast
- Mumei: just like Wilson (no point throwing dagger on small mobs, also dagger animation is a bit laggy, need spam F key to hit like normal speed)
Basic Resources gathering to base setting (Day 1 to Day 5-7)
- Neol: Faster movement speed makes exploration a bit faster
- Calli: just kill everything with Scythe, remember to keep 50%+ durability for Dragonfly and Ancient Guardian, you can easily make Scythe using construction amulet and get blue gem from killing Mactusk's blue hounds on winter)
- Fubuki: Need more tools to mine/chop, kills spiders while gathering silk or kills pigman/werepig while hammering pig houses can level up to lvl 6 faster
- Kronii: Need to be extra careful and avoid using tools/combat in early daytime until reaching 1/4 of the day (work efficiency will be x1.0), the max and current stats are scaled so fill up the hunger in day or night is the same thing for me, not an issue (or it's not?), only scare of sudden death in early morning
- Suisei: Like playing Wigfrid (even though I never play her before), need to take care of the hunger, sanity is not a problem unless you trigger psychopath mode
- Mumei: explore faster and work faster at night, otherwise it's like Wilson
Ruin Rush (Based on killing Ancient Guardian, using Star Callar staff to light up the Arena)
- Noel: Tanky, more room for error, spamming perogies is the best XXD
- Calli: OP, but make sure don't get down below 20 sanity or she will sleep (in default sleep trigger setting)
- Fubuki: with lvl 9 or lvl 10, learn to counter the boss, it melts when you trigger multiple "summon roommate" in the fight (I also set to 99% damage reduction, as with 95%, I rather dodge instead of counter since I no armor)
- Kronii: using Hambat, need to use "Combined Stats" mod to check the stats, start the fight when the stats are around 100+, then just melt the boss
- Suisei: craft 1-2 Pick/Axe to get like constant 100+ damage, then just melt the boss. As the sanity is very low, hard to active psychopath mode
- Mumei: using Hambat, constantly throwing dagger to get terror buff, a bit faster than Wilson, also finding the dagger is difficult as the muddy ground is brown, similar to dagger
Ruin Rush (Mining Statues and making staffs, avoiding combat)
- Noel: Tanky increase survivability when encountering bishops/rooks
- Calli: maintaining sanity above 20 is the priority, need to kill nightmare creatures as fast as possible (I use scythe, because you only need 15-20% durability for Ancient Guardian, with close to full souls), other wise will sleep and get bitten by nightmare creatures
- Fubuki: with lvl 9, killing nightmare creature and bishop using counter is easy, but I wear helmet in case a rook rush at me out of nowhere, I also don't fight rook
- Kronii: Mine statues only after 100+ stats to get work eficiency on x1.0+, avoid stand close to nightmare light on Waning phase when the sanity stat is low, also run away from nightmare creatures when the stats are low (== low damage multiplier)
- Suisei: BL book only keeps her sanity drops like other normal character. With luxury axe, killing nightmare creature is easy. Also bring hunger food as her stomach is small.
- Mumei: Explore fast and Work faster, only need 2 luxury axe to mine statues on safer set pieces, sanity is never a problem. Can consider to live in cave.
From Day 1 to Day 20:
Overpoweredness:
Calli (Scythe) > Fubuki (lvl 10) > Kronii (Time Scaling) > Suisei (even though Pick/Axe give consistent 100+ damage, but benefit offset by "only eat meats" trait) > Noel (Tanky) > Mumei
Ability to Ruin Rush:
Fubuki (Work efficiency + Counter) > Mumei > Noel > Calli > Suisei > Kronii
#I could be wrong as I am not pro enough to exploit each character's traits
Extra:
I test Irys to fight Dragonfly, Darkness mode is disaster, it will cancel the panflute effect and you have to deal with enraged Dragonfly. Also I expect Darkness will make Bee Queen or Klaus fight worse too. Other than that her DPS on single boss only fight is probably the highest (Dark Crystal 150 damage + Dark Sword 68 damage = 218 damage > Calli's Scythe 70% 204 damage), but need purple gems for mana

• My own experience playing them. So it's entirely my opinion, and I can be wrong about the stuff I talked about here. Most of them I did entire solo playthroughs from start to Celestial champion/Fuel weaver and all the other optional bosses, for the support focused ones I played with Mikey and some other friends from start to FW.
