Personal idea for Stats and crafting.
Stats:
The bad trip

A short laser beam comes out of the bomb and fades away the taller it gets. Bombs detonate when enemies cross the beam. The beams will be facing you when the bombs are placed.
+When destroyed they will detonate
+Stickes cannot be pushed by explosions or airblast
+20% Larger blast radius
+25% fire speed
+Crits if detonated by laser
+Immediate detonation
-Only 5 stickes can be placed
-No explosion upon manual detonation.
-Will do 50% more damage on you and other players using this weapon.
-3 magazine size

Crafting:
Scottish resistance x3 Reclaimed metal x1

Would this be fitting?

My idea:

-allow 6 to be deployed
-placing one sticky over limit detonates the first set of 2 placed
+-2 magazine size
- questionable arm time(requires both stickies to be laid in an area before arm)
+-stickies will detonate when shot and when crossed will detonate
+cant be airblasted
+slightly bigger explosion
+detecton is nearly instant(between 2 specific stickies)
-walking through your own trap will cause it to go off
-disguised or cloaked spies will not set it off
-detonation by hand will produce less damage than by detection
-detonation of single :sticky: (by hand obviously) will cause the sticky to break
- stickies only work within a certain radius of eachother
- lazers between the 2 stickies are visible during arming process

this is cool but the short circut still needs to destroy them but rather then making them vanish a small exploshion like a direct hit unless there stupid and snorting it its not very effective

I will change so they explode when destroyed

I reckon that it'd be interesting if the stickies detonated autonomously but it becomes impossible to detonate them manually. Right click could just destroy all the stickies and not explode them.

I like it, except I think that a gimmick for this weapon should definately be that the lasers do not distinguish between friend of foe, so that the Demos can't just plant a wall of these and remain hiding. Teammates won't take damage, they'll just activate the beams, causing the stickies to explode. This way, Teamwork will be encouraged so that the Demos traps are more tactical. Think Claymore Mines.

I have concidered your idea. But i still haven't added it yet. I also just updated the stats.

i think there should only be two out at a time,it will then connect to each other,no mater how far
How about:

(+) Hold Fire to fire first sticky
(+) Release Fire to fire second, connected to first with laser trip
(+) Crossing trip detonates both stickies automatically
(+) Alt-Fire temporarily deactivates laser, allowing you to cross safely and hide laser from foes
(+) 20% larger explosion radius
(-) Can't manually detonate stickies
(-) When one sticky is destroyed, its mate is as well
(-) Laser is constantly visible to enemies
(-) -2 max pipebombs out (only 6)
(-) -25% clip size
(-) Can't charge-fire stickies to increase range
