yeah im gonna start working on it tommorow i recently watched a minecraft mod video(scape and runs parasites mod) thet resparked my interest in doing it

I just looked at that mod and I love the idea.

i was thinking of lore ideas for the blight and i came up with this:
"long ago, when the universe was young , there was a terrible calamity. a parasite known as the blight emerged and began terrorising the universe. they spread from planet to planet in huge space travelling hives known as "mothers" and planted there "rooters" into planets, warping the area around them. these rooters would spawn the hideous creatures that infected other species. to combat these horrors, a coalition of races was formed: the purifier inquisition. at great cost of live, they managed to defeat and eradicate the blight. however, frozen under the surface of the planet of the frost army lies the last of the mothers, and due to mining, it has been released..." this is of course, only if you guys the army makers are okay with this, also please add any ideas you have nightarcher!
