BUG maybe?

I was trying to get : Reactor RBMK-1000 Nr.4 achievement
But after Destroying reactor and even surviving all explosions multiple times achievement didnt show up. Please explain why and how actually to get it?

the achievement is given when you are in 2048Hu of range and the reactor enters the point of no return (gibs spawn from it and beams appear)
