Suggestions for things to add
So far my list of things I already have in mind is posted on the mod description itself, but if anyone wants to suggest more things they can do it here.

Implemented:
-More colors
-More poses (yet to be updated though)
-Custom ship teleporter
-Custom SAIL interface (only the object, SAIL is still SAIL)
-Sparx is ship pet

Future:
-Breath weapons for Spyro and Cynder
-Weapon alternate is a secondary attack ^
-More clothes and armor
-Choice of Chronicler or Sparx as AI
-Figure out why Sparx isn't working as ship pet (probably my fault) (was totally my fault, lol)

Far future (maybe sooner with help):
-Replace EPP's with gems or something that won't look out of place.
-Change the tutorial sequence to make more sense.
-Add flight tech that actually works
-Add custom mech
-Add custom teleport animation
-Add custom resources
-Change size of hitbox
-Make wings into arms/make front paws arms
-Figure out how to have them hold things

If anyone wants to help expedite the implementation of clothes, please feel free to DM me in Discord or Steam so I can give you the sprite sheet. Fair warning, all clothes are pants; shirts and hats don't work on these guys. Just make sure if you use Discord, you tell me your Steam username so I can credit you!

Instead of adding a visible wing or arm, what about adding an invisible one on the dragon's side?

You could say a weapon, such as a lance, was strapped on or some other invisible way of keeping it on and moving it around, etc.

That way you can animate the wings when they're in flight.

As for armor, may I suggest something similar to these designs from TLOS?

https://spyro.fandom.com/wiki/Armor

Also, there was a partially-scrapped mini-quest for A New Beginning where Spyro would have had to retrieve Ignitus's armor, helmet and lance.

I say partially scrapped because the armor and lance made it into the final game, but as scenery items instead of collectibles. They can be seen in various places throughout the Swamp level. This information comes from the following page, in the Trivia section:

https://spyro.fandom.com/wiki/Ignitus#Trivia

Anyway, that's my recommendation for the custom racial weapon. A lance.

Yes, the armor that I've already made (if you shuffle around in the mod files you can actually find them ;) but they're not implemented yet) is based on TLoS DotD

Nice. I don't know how to access mod files so I will wait and see when you implement it.

I'd recommend something like invisible "arms" too, like Kerry.

I feel like the best would be for the front legs to work like the arms in some way, but I think that might be easier said than done?

Well, the front legs are meant to be... well... legs.

Spyroverse dragons (from TLOS anyway) remain quadrupeds, even into adulthood.

Now in the OG series they somehow became bipedal as they grew, but that's not a thing in TLOS-land.

Invisible arms would be best in this situation.

It's possible, but I'd have to rework the game's code for how it reads sprite sheets. I would've already made the front legs the "arms", but arms sheet didn't have enough frames for all the animations the dragons have. I could, in the future, make it so they can hold one item at a time with one of their front paws, but it wouldn't be in the near future.

Currently, the "arms" ARE invisible. The sprite sheets for the head and front/back arms are empty. I can add to my list though figuring out how to move weapons down so they're at least lined up with the body better (another thing that will probably be easier said than done).

The latter sounds like a good plan. Keep the arms invisible, just give them a lower attachment point.

For some items, you can have the dragons hold them in their mouths. You'd have to figure out how to do it in the game, but that's pretty prototypical.

This is how they'd hold things such as lanterns. Of course, while they're holding stuff in their mouths they can't use their breath attacks, though other forms of elemental attacks (such as the flame charge/comet dash) would still work.

Alternatively you could have them hold things with handles, such as lanterns, by using their wing bone "thumbs" or their horns to hook the items onto.

Also, talking of alternate elemental attacks, brings me to another suggestion: Add the other elemental attacks from TLOS such as the Comet Dash and/or the Elemental Furies.

You could probably make the Comet Dash a race-specific replacement of the Dash tech that's already in the game, using that as a starting point. Just give it a fire effect with a damage level, both direct and over time.

Some of Cynder's alternate attacks, on the other hand, could be a problem. (Looking at Shadow's secondary elemental power for example.)

So the breath attacks as weapons works in my favor already because you have to have the breath element selected in the hotbar to use it, which means if the weapon has a primary and secondary, they can't be holding anything else at the time.

Great!

would be nice to add white main color.
i want to create white-blue dragon with gold horns, claws and others things but can't, there no clear white color... or maybe make white that a little with blue filter.

also need add option to change wings colors.
