How to distinguish a tri-polar star from others?

I've been trying to find a solarized planet, and the wiki says they orbit tri-polar stars. However, the wiki has zero information on what a tri-polar star is, looks like, etc. Knowing what to look for would help narrow things down quite a bit. Thanks.

They're half red and half blue, and they have a small circle surrounding them.
