New Planned Features
Currently Implementing:
• To implement a fix for deployment area (more squad members)


As of right now, you will have issue if you don't have a mod to do this if you adjust the starting squad size to more than 5.


Attempting to auto configure spawn size to dynamically adjust to the squad size.


Planned

• To Expose the Spawn Size in MCM if I cannot figure out how to dynamically change it.

• To look into giving squad size 3 and 4 the ability to give a configurable amount of squad members each.


Completed
• Automatically detect [robojumper's Squad Select] and set compatibility mode.

• Remove [Compatibility Mode] from the MCM now that this mod is automatically compatible with [robojumper's Squad Select].

• Make all Visuals from MCM automatic and remove them from MCM.

• Expose the 1st and 2nd squad upgrades in the MCM.

• Expose the default starting squad size in the MCM.

• Make all changes in the MCM dynamic (no need for restarting).

• Increase the Maximum Squad Size in the MCM to 12 for Max 16.

• To reorganize the MCM menu for easy navigation.

• To Expose Max Rank in the INI file, so that those that play with mods that go up higher in ranks will be able to select the highest rank in the MCM for cost.

• To Fix a bug where a user is not using Robojumpers Squad select while using this mod, and then adds it, but doesn't go into the MCM and save. It will result in this mod not running in compatibility mode.

Regarding the "planned" features, are you basically just integrating the "allow larger squads" mod into your own mod or is there something fundamentally different that you need to change?

No need to integrate it. I am going to try and make the spawn size dynamic so you can deploy an unlimited number of squad members. I don't know if it is possible. If you know of a mod that does this already, please let me know.

Oh I see, so if I only plan to use the base 12 + 4 upgrade, then all I need is that the spawn size mod right? I think the issue is like if you do something like 50 guys, the map just can't handle that haha. Is 12/16 the safe number because that is what the mode is hard coded too as the max size?

16 is max size for a 4x4 spawn point.

Would it be possible to customize the number of slots a squad size upgrade opens up? E.g., the Squad Size 1 and 2 give 1 extra soldier, but Squad Size 3 and 4 give 2 each or something like that?

Hello, is it possible to remove the squad size III and IV upgrades? I'd like to have 6 as starting amount of soldiers, and 2 size upgrades for total 8 soldiers

I actually just tweaked the ini for squad size III and IV to require rank 8, which is not present.
