Swanky (Warpaint)

Please remove the scratches and fallen off paint on the texture, thats why wear grades exist.
Noone who has this texture on Factory New wants to see scratches on it, and those who do get this texture on Minimal Wear. Damage baked into a Warpaint texture is always a bad idea, especially considering how great this Warpaint actually looks like.

yeah, check corsair and plaid potshotter.
they have scratches and chips on FN and theyre not that desired because of it. it always makes someone mad if the FN that they payed up the ass for(any good war paint is expensive as ♥♥♥♥ in FN) has scraches.

personally, i love the chips, they give the warpaint more depth instead of flat lines, but if they were removed, that would be fine

Very nice paint but I have to agree, the chips make FN, which are already difficult to obtain, less desirable

Totally agree!

Base Tf2 wouldn't look even as good if it didn't have those little bits of wear on weapons and other default textures

Thats what wear grades are for. Factory new is supposed to be spotless and thats how it should be with this paint too.
I think this really shouldn't be that controversial, if the chips are part of the intended design and some like it better, just have it be minimal wear. People like Fac. New for its pristine look, and if you make the other version a lower grade it'll also be less expensive for those who like the slightly-scratched version better. It's a win-win.
