- riposte ignore cannot have rules. It is an inherent trait that can be added to a skill, and it will work in all cases of it attacking riposting target.
- immobilize is an unstable mechanic, and I will not use it (it can be removed by simply exiting the game and loading back. Additionally it requires specific effect to be removed by normal means - it cannot be given duration).
- it is impossible to have an effect (like changing mode) trigger automatically when hero is moved.
We've been considering how to make brace "feel" better, but game simply does not allow for more elaborate things.
As for the melee skill, it is fine, not everything needs to be overly fancy, and it does its job well enough.
I'm just happy to hear that you are concidering giving his backline abilities a bit of love :)
Aslo, tbh, a way simpler way to make it work could be to just add "back 1" and "Ignors Ripost" to his Arquebuse Shot, it would at the same time help him stick a bit better to his rank 4 (thus making Brace the Gun better) while keeping the ignore ripost that would fit to the backline sniper and give him a niche.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my stuff and responding, it was much appreciated.
I can't wait to see what change you'll end up giving to him.
