The mod does not let me equip the armor and the sword no work

You have to unlock the engrams to equip the armor and use the sword. Engrams are unlocked by defeating bosses. This is the same as normal Tek Items. The first line in my desription is "Tek armor worth earning.". If you want to use cheats then use the command cheat DefeatAllBosses 0
0 works on yourself, for others you will have to use their INT32 PlayerID Number instead of 0.

I have an issue where the original Tek Helmet function by holding R doesn't work on the Beskar Helmet when charged with element. Didn't see anything on the mod description page for a change in the keybind or if the helmet functionality doesn't work at all with the Beskar helmet.

Edit: Nvm found out that holding E toggles the visor functionality and double-tapping E cycles thru it xd

@chris, in the release that is in testing, it will be the radial menu and will use R by default.

Testing out the Beskar Tek Railgun today, we noticed it has VERY limited range (seemed to be within about 30-40 meters). Outside of that range, you can fire all you want and the target takes no damage. We made sure there were no weird hitbox issues like the dinos hiding behind invisible walls, either. We had to be at shotgun range for the railgun to do any damage at all.

I've unlocked the tekgrams for both the helmet and boots, but I still cannon equip either of them. Beat Alpha Broodmother on Tunguska; don't think it's any different from the Island Broodmother fight, but I'm including the map just in case.

This sounds like an issue with the map you are using. If the Tekgrams are unlocked by defeating the bosses, then you should be able to learn and use the Beskar Engrams. It has been tested on all 10 "Official" maps.

I don't know if it is; I can equip the normal Tek items fine, just not the Beskar versions. It's weird... I'll transfer my character over to the Island though and see if it works there.

Yeah, I just tested on Ragnarok, used cheat defeatboss 0 Uberspider 2 to unlock the Tekgrams, and I still can't equip the Beskar helmet. Does it have to be only bosses accessed on the specific map?

There is no uberspider on ragnarok I am pretty sure that wouldn't work. If it unlocks the tekengram for the vanilla version, then then beskar should work. Try... cheat DefeatAllBosses 0

Erm... now I can't learn the vanilla tekgrams using that cheat. Gonna try an individual code to see if that works.

Uh, nope... doesn't like me doing that. Gonna try giving myself the tekgrams manually.

Okay, something outside of the mod broke. Gonna try and fix it; I'll come back when I do.

I give up. Now I can't equip the normal tek items, even on the save that I've got them unlocked on. Every time I think I'm making progress in this game, something breaks to prove me wrong and I have to start over.
