Regarding you hair color question
I wanted to give you some info, as someone who has modded a lot- specifically regarding hair colors.

Unfortunately, SMFLen, its not possible to make your own. The game uses 4 layers of shaders (b00,h00, m00, s00) which are then colored over through predefined values within the game's code. As a result, you cannot change the colors from what the game offers. There are still old assets in the code that have colored hair (so for instance, if you got the data/hairs.pak, you will see files like Alte_00_00 which have lime colored hair) but these are not usable files and not ones the game uses- they are merely left over assets from the less effective way it used to be coded. In short, you can't change it.

That said, you can reshape what is already there. So for example, some of the excess hair in this mod is not colored in a few spots. Fixing this would require you to manually adjust the previously mentioned files, however this also has consequences on the normal sprite, as the "fix" will also break the hair on normal sprite. b00 is the hair frame, h00 are the highlights, m00 is the shading, and s00 is the darker hair highlights. This is how we did the hair on the suguri overhaul, but the colors are still limited by what the game is already coded to spit out.

No don't worry about it, I read it all the way through. Thank you so much for the information, I really appreciate it. It definitely gives me a better understanding than before.

And yeah, I honestly thought I was done with making mods for OJ. But I just had to make the hoodie so that both, the sweater and the hoodie of two lovable OJ characters going together like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

My plan for these two mods was like you said, "enhance" what's already in the game. By just replacing one palette that people would feel OK with being replaced by the respected outfits color. And not have every palette being replaced with the same outfit but different color and getting rid of the original. (Like for example, imagine the Sora's Sweater mod, but I only have it where all the palettes are replaced with only that outfit, but different color while her original outfit is replaced with only the sweater instead.)

Personally I'm not a fan of that. Because it would just feel weird to me. Thank you and everyone else for the awesome feedback on these mods. I was really happy to bring it into OJ and make it feel like it's official.

One of these days if I ever feel like making another mod. We could probably collaborate on making one. I think it'd be neat to collaborate with people for fun. If you're ever in the mood of course.
