Strategy guide and discussion
First, If you find joy in figuring out the nuances of strategy on your own, STOP READING! This game at first seems like a light game of few simple choices but it is so much deeper when you start delving deeper.

THE FLIP FLOP POSITION:

First, the point of the game is to be on the correct winning side by the end. So keeping yourself flexible and in a flip flop position in the first round is a good idea. It gets more dangerous the further you get into round 2 because if given a couple of bad draws, it can flip you easily to the wrong side. Another detriment to the flip flop position is for the final draft. You can easily put yourself in a lose-lose situation that way. So knowing when to commit and getting further away from the flip flop position is part of what you should be looking for. Also, taking 1 secret card just in case Secrets win is a good idea, but if too many people take 1 or 2 secret cards, the likelihood of someone ending loyal goes down! So overall, taking all of 1 faction is not a good idea, haha! Now if you get unlucky draws and can't help it, well, now you've got some hard work to do to convince people you're Order or deduce who's got Scrolls/Bribes!

MAKING SPECIAL CARDS INERT:

Okay special cards have a lot of cool powers but when you draw one, what should you do? Generally, let's say you take 1 into your hand that needs to be in your hand and you have to be a certain loyalty. GREAT! Now what do you choose: Do you take it with the intention of playing it? Or do you take it with the intention of making it inert? So for example, I take The Eye. It's an amazing Order card and a very crucial one for The Order to win. What do I choose now? Flipping to Chaos and making it inert might be a good idea. That's a great choice especially if you're seemingly out numbered by The Order on Day 6.

THE EYE:

The Eye is super powerful, but also has a lot of micro choices attached to it. First, is it better to play it Day 3 or Day 6? Well, it depends, just like every choice! Every choice really is about being tactical in the moment. Day 3 is a good time to use it when all or most Scrolls are already gone. It could narrow things down and get them back in the deck, since on Day 3 the whole hand is uncovered when someone gets the most votes! Not much room for the guilty to hide. However, Day 6 is also a great time because since it's so close to the final draft, getting Scrolls and Bribes in the deck guarantees them to be available to be drawn on Day 7. Also, when do you play the Eye on Day 6, before the vote, or after the vote when the player removes 2 cards? Either has it's advantages! Another strategy is having the Eye and being Corrupt. What if you look at another player's hand and lie and say that they have Bribes? ;) That's a fun one! lol

THE ASSASSIN:

The Assassin is a fun one with a lot of depth. Discarding cards can be a good thing if the person discarding is on the wrong side. It can really give them leeway to flip flop since under normal circumstances you're stuck with what you've taken before. So, do you make yourself innocent but beg to be picked? That gives you a huge 1-2 punch of the Assassin ability AND Revenge! Or do you make yourself Guilty and beg to be picked that way? OR..... What if you use the assassin ability on yourself? That is a good idea sometimes! There are other little nuances, but most are along those same lines.

THE INSIGHT

A simple card, but one that has no allegiance. Let's say you're Chaos, do you pick a Chaos member and say they're Order? You can choose to not even announce your info. Puts suspicion on you, but maybe that is what you want! Fun and simple, but still has some choices!

THE ENFORCER

This card can be great for The Order if that player has deduced correctly who is also Order. It's the final draft, so now what? There is no BEST strategy, but do you pick yourself first? Do you pick The Order members to go first, to hopefully play the odds? Do you save yourself for last? Up to you, but whatever you choose the luck of the draw is still a factor, but at least the luck of the turn order is not!

THE MANIPULATOR

Oof, this one can make people mad! So, the Manipulator has just been triggered. Voting for 1 of the 2 and risk it being triggered again, but voting for someone else completely keeps you 100% safe from the Manipulator... Well, some people can get too attached to voting for the Manipulator over and over, so be careful! lol

THE SIGNAL

Okay the Signal is the most complicated card in the game. I hear you, haha. So, the Signal is mostly tricky because of it's ability to be bluffed by someone who's Corrupt. If someone signals, you can believe them and work together, or you can just rat them out and prove yourself trustworthy! Should YOU signal? Should YOU fake it? The outcomes aren't guaranteed in your favor but there are a lot of choices you can make with this ability.

THE SUPERIOR

First of all, the absolute BEST time to do this ability is without a doubt on Day 6 after the vote and the player removed 2 cards facedown to the table. YES! You CAN uncover those 2 cards! But, there are also many other choices with this ability. Let's say you have the Assassin in your hand, if you uncover it, you get to trigger it! Fun!

So, overall this is just a few of the many choices a player has. There's a lot more strategy on the social end but that can vary depending on the group. I hope you all enjoy finding even more little tips and tricks and strategies. Feel free to post and share more! :D
