Are the cards revealed to be discard instead of the display during the redraft?
Cell  [developer] 18 Feb, 2021 @ 4:46am
yes, when someone had just discarded cards because they uncovered secret bribe or scroll cards, or whatnot, when that player re-drafts, the cards are just discarded instead of displayed during the re-drafts.

Hey btw! I checked out your stream just now and I'm enjoying watching you all play! :D I'm very impressed you made that translated special card sheet! If you want to share it, I can add it to the mod so others who need it can use it too!

Another thing I noticed is when you are all voting remember to do it simultaneously. So, all at the exact same time you should be casting your votes.

Okay, so watching your stream I see what you mean more clearly by your original question. When a player discards, they discard to their own facedown discard pile in front of them, then once they finish their redraft, the discards go back into the deck.

hey, very good game, one question tho, why is the master card not scripted? if the player who owns the master card also have two scrolls does only he win or all of chaos as well? thanks in advance
Cell  [developer] 7 Apr, 2021 @ 6:04pm
The Master wins alone as long as they are loyal to Chaos and have 2 or more Scrolls. It's not scripted because it would've been too much work for me to figure out how. Kind of like how The Signal is also not scripted, for something so small it wouldn't be worth the amount of time to get it to work.

Thanks for playing!!! :D Hope you all enjoyed! If y'all are even playing and need another player, hit me up! :D

Heya, we are really enjoying your game, but 1 questions still came up:

1. Does the Imposter ability trigger on re-drafts (after someone discarded), or only on "public" draft rounds?

P.S. I am currently expanding your script and trying to add more functionality. I hope it's ok if i publish it as soon as i am happy with the additions :)

Edit: Removed 1 obvious question about the Master

The Master win condition is it's own separate win condition that trumps all other win conditions, including Secrets. So, as long as The Master is loyal to Chaos and has 2+ Scrolls, they beat Secrets.

The Impostor ability does occur on a re-draft, as long as it was the very next draft after displaying it.

Sure, what are you adding? I also could update this current one and add you s a contributor.

Deleted that first question, because i read the rules again and it quite obviously states "Trumps all other win cons", but thank you for answering anyway ^^

Alrighty, perfect. That makes sense. Thank you.

So far i've added automatic blindfolding during the night phases and plan on automating voting, the Signal and the Master.

Thing is: I rewrote a lot of your stuff to make it easier for me to work with. So if you were to update your version, your old code would be overwritten and i don't know if you'd like that

Edit: Forgot last paragraph / Fromatting

Oh cool! That's awesome, I'm thankful you enjoyed enough to want to do all that work! How are you going to automate the Signal?
Cell  [developer] 12 Apr, 2021 @ 7:16am
If you want, add me on steam, so as you get more along I can test it all to make sure everything behaves correctly. I know there's a lot of little micro rules and such, that's why I never wanted to fully automate everything! haha

Two more questions:

1: When exactly does the player targeted by the Assassin re-draft? Just to be sure: Do they really re-draft LAST last, aka. after revenge or do they re-draft last of all those who have to re-draft, but before revenge is taken. We aren't quite sure.

2: We have the following scenario: Superior uncovered Assassin -> Forced a player to discard 2 (before a vote). Do they re-draft immediately? There is no deck to draft from yet. Do we have to cleanup earlier, just so he can re-draft now?

2.5: If not, and he is also voted during Day 6. Do they still choose 2 cards to put on the table? Do players just vote between the 2 cards on table and 3 cards in hand?
Cell  [developer] 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:40pm
Yes. Last, meaning the last thing to be done before starting the next day.

The Assassin makes a player immediately discard 2, but they do not re-draft until the next night, so yes they now have fewer cards in hand temporarily. So in the case of that Assassinated player being voted on Day 6, yes they choose to remove 2 of their 5 in hand.

Also, if in the rare case of multiple Assassinated player needing to re-draft at the same time, you'd just do it in order of who was Assassinated.
