Save Our Station BugFix
So, it would appear that (at least in unstable) something got broken in terms of loading DynamicRadio localisation strings.

As a temporary workaround, I patched in a file that just loads a table of all the English strings.

I also took the opportunity to clean up the code that overrides WeatherChannel and correct some speeling mustahkez.

The code is written in such a way that it always prefers whatever localisations the game provides, falling back to the English table only if it fails.

Grab it here: https://transfer.sh/GW1tR7/SaveOurStation-Fixed.zip

Do I need to do anything after switching the original mod out for this patch? Will my friends automatically get the latest version when they try to connect?
The fix is entirely server-side, so they don't need to.

Did the download link expire? Just getting a 'Not Found' on my end.
Perhaps uploading this to the workshop or github as more permanent host while we wait for SoS to be patched could be a good idea?

If anyone has this fix could they please rehost it so i can take a look? I'd like to fix it but I have very little time these days.

I have the hotfix uploaded as an unlisted item, since it's more or less a copy of your and Olipro's work and I didn't want it propagating without permission. I'll send you a link to it.

I got the mega.nz file, did you just run it independently or did you run it in conjunction with Spacew00ts version?

Would love to see the file posted somewhere accessible.

Hey guys, since I've had radio silence from spacewoot, I decided to host this fix as a separate workshop item available here. It's a direct copy of the files in this update, and nothing else has been changed; it's just to make it easier for servers to host the fixed version. If spacewoot or olipro want it taken down, just DM me to sort it out. Thanks.

Would love to know any additional steps to take to kick the new/fixed files into working. I subbed to the 'SaveD' mod and unsubbed the original, and relaunched my dedicated server but it didnt seem to matter. I reckon I might have to delete the mod ID folder in the dedicated server location to trigger a redownload of the 'SaveD' version?

That might help. I don't know how Steam handles unsubscribing from workshop items (e.g. if it deletes the files immediately or at a later point), but it's possible that it is seeing the existing folders and thinking "oh, it's already here, I don't need to download it". In my experience from using the bugfix, the first message sent when loading up the server still is bugged, but all future messages display normally.

It doesnt delete the files, so I went and removed this Mod ID, subscribed and confirmed SaveD was downloaded. I even deleted the mod manifest so all mods were rechecked... no love. Really wish I just learned lua at this rate I could fix my own files! lol
