and class attachment restriction system (example: a 60 round magazine attachment is for only heavy class or a scope for ghost class
Noted. I would probably look into how to support this for ArcCW first and then see how I would support other weapon bases.
To solve lag problems that could be caused by the overwhelming amount of zombies at the later waves, a "spawn rate" or a "max zombies at once" command or setting could be implemented. Simply giving the zombies more health as the waves go on instead of more zombies could also work.
Blitz mode, where store items are significantly cheaper, or maybe even 100% free, but there are many more zombies or zombies with more health.
Again, a "spawn rate" or a "max zombies at once" command or setting could be implemented to solve lag or framerate drops.
Unfortunately, I don't have any weapon, class, shop, or zombie suggestions. I really enjoy this mode and I would like to see one or perhaps both of these modes added. Thank you!
A shop npc similar to killing floor that can be placed and then randomized on a per wave basis.
"spawn rate" and "max zombies at once" are actually both internal variables! It's actually really easy to expose them. I will add them asap.
The Blitz mode seems like an interesting idea; I would couple that with the difficulty system (similar to that of Killing Floor) that I am currently working on. Thanks for the suggestions!
Another idea I had was Classic Defense, where the goal is to defend an object of choice from the zombies by replacing the original shop for a new one, where defensive turrets and traps were up for grabs instead of weapons, ammo, and other special items. The classes would also work differently, such as towers the Ghost class places gain a range boost, and the Assault class's towers gain a fire rate or a damage boost.
The problem with this is that it may be too different from the base addon mode and would take a very long time to program and develop. It may also be too similar to other gamemode addons like YAWD.
Well, until next time, I'm out of ideas. Again, thank you for making this gamemode and I really, REALLY enjoy it!
