While it is not canon, tokens for shield are helpful for remembering to apply shield through the end of the turn.

It would be nice is the party sheet automatically filled in the levels (and I guess names) of the seated players from their character sheets. We often forget to adjust levels there when someone levels up and so the difficulty doesn't get updated till we notice.

Also, some 3D models for the level 5 JotL abilities (and the favorite) would be appreciated. If possible, scripting support for demolitionist's and hatchet's would be nice. I know you can add class tokens as conditions, but they don't drop on monster death and if a monster stands on a class token on the map, then it gets applied to it automatically.

I just spent quiet some time to convert two running Gloomhaven campaigns into this new Mod, since I always begged for some of it's distinct features (like the "add curse/bless" buttons).
Can't wait to fill up the enemy deck with all those lovely curses ;)

One feature that would be appreciated and is most likely doable with litte effort:
add an entry in the options (via Notebook) that allows you to select if a scenario is created with hidden or revealed rooms by default, when you doubleclick it's corresponding sticker on the minimap.

Are there any plans to release a 5p variant similar to how Gloomhaven - Fantasy Setup does it? I tried to make the suggested adjustments from Fantasy Setup myself but this mod changes enough that it was a bit of a mess on load.

We’re planning on removing the notebook options, and replacing with a control panel on the table in a future update

There's a Jaws of the Lion TTS mod that let's you right click your health +- icons to add/remove shields (blue for shields instead of black for health). It's the one feature I really miss from that mod.

I might take another look at it once the code stabilizes, but the additional layers of scripting between the decks, the play area, and the hand zones in GE 1.0 mean that supporting all of it would be a fairly involved edit. I can't speak to what the GE devs have planned though.

I posted a 5p variant of the beta version of GE, which has a lot of the 3D terrain and bug fixes but without the additional scripting elements. My group seldom has all five players, so my current plan is just to import our characters into that version when we need to.

Dont forget there are ways to have extra small items.

But we do have some thoughts about improving having lots of small items with some new kind of player mat

An enhancement calculator where you drag a card onto it and it tells you what enhancements are available and how much they would cost would be nice, but also kinda unnecessary lol.

Some quicker way to drop status tokens on minis. I had some code that used gamekeys to do so in Fantasy Setup, but I had them set to the numpad fairy extensively, and that seems to be occupied now. Plus, you know, adding my own code to to the mod means every new version I have to copy-paste/rewrite it.

An indication on the playmat or initiative tracker that a player has taken a long rest before the round starts.

Will also second the 'more small item slots' and 'reveal rooms by default option' suggestions.

EDIT: Ooh, and also -- buttons on pre-placed traps to remove them? Can unlock and delete, but a button would be nice, too.

I don't know if it's technically possible, but it would be really cool if the initiative tracker showed images of the monster action cards instead of text. This would make them a lot easier to parse. The text version also doesn't show AoE and some other things.

Even cooler would be if you could see images of the player's action cards in the initiative tracker.

We may consider adding support for temporary status effects in the future. It would not be implemented in exactly the same way as the JoTL mod, however.

After using GFS for over a year I have to say this mod adds a lot of improvements across the board. That said I failed quite spectacularly to implement some features I'd like to see. So it's time to ask somebody who actually knows what he's doing: 1) It would be great for a monster with the Hatchet tracker in it's statsbar (aka the Favorite) to drop a TrackerHA token along with the coin on death. 2) Additional status tokens to remind people of active player and monster abilities (shield, range, attack, heal, targets, retaliate, move) would be another great addition. I kind of did this for PCs and Summons by changing the picture IDs in the XML script for the FH and some Tracker tokens. But that's a crude solution and it doesn't work for monsters. 3) One thing I have been able to implement myself and what would be a nice addition to the mod is that PC summons spawn with the classes symbol instead of the generic summons marker.
