Not tested the map personally but I can't see any rivers in that minimap what is visible. Am I right?

No, theres a lot of rivers near the center and 6 small rivers separating each hex with the middle. I agree though, from the map it doesnt look like there are any rivers.

It's not a bug i don't think. Otherwise there would be more people complaining about it. If you can't find the map, are you sure that you are using the modded setup? If you are, and it still isnt working, go to my documents>my games>Civ V>MODS>Hexagon Warfare and copy the map file. Then go to computer>local disk>program files>steam>steamapps>common>Civ V>assets>maps and paste the file in there. Then you should be able to play the map without going through modded setup. This should solve your problem in getting the map to show up.

What do you do to actually get the map working? Do you put it anywhere? Or when its downloaded it works? I'm new to this, sorry :(

When you have subscribed to the map, you go on Civ V and click MODS. Then you accept the message and select "Hexagon Warfare". Press next, then press single player, then set up game, and when selecting a map go on additional maps and select the map that you want (My default map is called 'Hexagon Warfare'). From there, set up the game as you would normally.
