Pages: Pretty much all of the "gain [E] plus some positive effect" pages are very strong (better than any boss relics). Maybe reduce starting HP for pages with strong effects and increase them for those without?
Relics: Malice, Hello and Gooey Waste are overpowered.
Cards: Degraded Shockwave, Combat Preparation, Eject and Overcharge are overly powerful for their rarity.
The overall ease with which healing yourself is possible also takes some of the challenge out of the game.
Cards that give you free attributes like Frontal Assault or Combat Prep are too strong because they don't have any conditions or high cost to play them
With Abnormalities it makes insane atrubutes from nothing.
The new ability to obtain more than one E.G.O page for fight is overpowered when you have a deck designed specifically for nonstop card spamming.
And with a huge amount of energy regen and card draw and card selection, it can be done in almost every run.
Picking Binah as your starter is a free win. Her starting kit can deal with everything alone.
To complete end-game fights, the only thing you need is relics, and not a lot of them.
Schockwave has 5 PROTECTION and it's not even exhausting after use.
Lock makes any enemy useless.
And in general, she has too much dmg on her cards.
Same thing with Black Silence and Red Mist. Just too many numbers, but those at least need to obtain some defence or else they will be glass canons (and those will never survive in late game long fights).
I suggest that those 3 have only 1 or 2 cards in selection after battle and nerf their dmg a bit (it rly is too high).
Protection by itself is a strong mechanic, and it's too easy to obtain it in a good enough amount to ignore most of the dmg.
In general, this mod makes the game a cake walk, and some kind of challenge here is hidden in endgame fights and 20 Ascension if you pick a regular librarian.
P.S.
Most of my runs were made in 20 Ascension (there were around 60 in total).
Thank you for your attention, developer. I'm having a lot of fun playing your creation.
I hope you will see what I wrote and make your own conclusions about it.
Always OP? +E +MaxHp +Buff series of pages. There is no build that does not love bonus energy.
Conditional OP? Gin's Page. Bleed on slash, Bleed on damage.
Getting even single [When bleed, +bleed] power card turns Gin from balanced but tough, to 60 bleedstack after 3rd turn. I love conditional OP, because you need to think to actually use and survive using Gin page.
Luck/Conditional OP are card sets. There are certain sets that simply mean you are going for an easy run - Blade Lineage and Kurokomo Clan combo means you have a lot of great slash cards, and the Overpower [+slash buff, damage, defence, 3E cost] is usually enough to switch into pure slash. It gets even more insane with Gin or +E cards/pages.
The thing i am not understanding at all is how is Bleed working aganist block. Certain enemies bleed me, and, they either damage my block, or directly my HP. Is there any rule to that i am missing?
Also, i love the subtle balancing with bonus cardchoice with increased pool sizes.
All in all, great job, i am loving the mod :)
The normal Librarians are overpowered too though. Granted, I've only done 2 runs so far (Netzach and Malkuth, so just the base kits, nothing special), but I can't actually remember looking at any cards I was offered and going "yeah, that's reasonable". And there has to be some kind of restriction on when certain key pages appear. I got Rose on Floor 1 of my last run and immediately went "yeah, that's a free win". It was.
It's an extremely fun mod, just extremely strong as well.

Compared to Binah and Roland, the initial card of the Book of Red Mist is too weak, the cards are not nine and does not have the original cost reduction, recovery power, and draw effect.Hoping to strengthen Gebura!♥
