is Double Unlock in a 3 Tier Possible with this Mod?
hi,

Before asking, i did try to investigate your "ini's", but i really felt overwhelmed. So i have to ask, does your mod allow to convert to double unlock in the original Xcom 2 "3 Tier" system?

Basically the idea is:
- have coil guns unlock at same time as magnetic (with no extra research (this part optional) and same stats as Magnetic)
- have Lasers unlock at same time as Plasma (with no extra research (this part optional) and same stats as plasma)

The end result is that i would have a alternate weapon to a Tier as a Option. The same way i already have beween the normal weapons and the "Tactical Legacy Pack" weapons.

It's possible, but would require so much editing that it would be a completely different mod at that point. If just want cosmetic alternatives to existing weapons on each tier, I suggest using Laser and Coil Ghost Templates alongside XSkin.

To clarify. i think it Is very much possible because my current setup, kinda tied things like coil to laser as tier 2 and the vanilla magnetic and beam to tier 3 because i prepared their damages and crits and what-not to be closely identical, with the only different is that coil/mag weapons deals more maximum damage and crit more damage than laser, which deals more minimum damage but is very accurate accross the board, with the end goal of making the tech a choice for a solder which of the weapon-type would suit them best. this setup of mine also works very well with me setting plasma weapon(from eu plasma weapon mod), to be the T4 and the chosen weapons(i have the hero chosen weapon mod too), to be a one-off, T5 weapons.
