Bots wearing ORCA diving helmets in my campaign run out of oxygen and suffocate. They won't exchange the oxygen tank in the helmet for some reason (happened with a powered helmet to be precise.) When I tested it in the editor, it doesn't happen.

Also, why not make the oxygen run out only when in water by using <StatusEffect type="InWater" or <StatusEffect type="NotInWater" ?
It would make sense with powered helmets. After all, they're advanced.

By the way, bots still say "Need to find a diving suit" and keep taking off diving helmets when not diving. Is there a way to prevent it? How about adding the tag "clothing" to helmets?

That's strange, the helmets shouldn't require O2 Tanks in Oxygenated areas.
I'll look into this.

I'll also look into that idea for O2 Tanks only draining when required, the main problem with that though is it may provide unlimited O2 in areas without Oxygen that aren't underwater.
I'll try a few things to see if I can get it to function properly.

I've already made some uh unchangeable changes to my current version of Saber Armor so I won't be able to update it for a bit.
The upcoming update should fix this problem among a lot of other things relating to AI Crew.

As long as you make them stop suffocating without asking for permission, it's fine, lol

Has anyone had a issue where you cant craft with this and the ek mods on? For some reason I cant craft while the captin can.

I've heard of this problem before but I never knew it was isolated to specific individuals, that is weird.

The guy that made EK had a solution to this Fabricator glitch, I haven't tested it but maybe it'll help.

"Its very strange but this seems to be the most reliable set of procedure

1 - Start with no mods enabled at all
2 - Join server (triggers the game to start hotloading)
3 - close the game while in the server instead of 'disconnecting' (This is important because it stops load-order from 'reverting' from hotloading order back to default order)
4 - Restart and rejoin and it will be correct now
There is a separate mod loading issue which is causing things to get bugged in a state of forever being wrong content package hash. - which is also probably fixed next build."

Probably the abyss update's fault, but my bot crew in single-player will switch out their orca suit for a dive suit while following me through an abandoned outpost. They do keep the orca helmet on, though.

EDIT: To specify, it was a suit already in the abandoned station, and it was a generic dive suit.

Update: Loaded up a save from before the outpost, and tried it again. Single-player bots will drop their helmets if you equip them and then switch characters.

Unequipping helmets is normal, because the helmets are tagged as diving masks. But if they weren't tagged as diving masks, bots wouldn't equip them when in water or out of oxygen.

I've also noticed that bots equip diving suits but couldn't specify what caused it.

powerpack.xml has 5 test files which appear in trader's menu and in the fabricator with a fire extinguisher's sprite:

Think there's an issue with the third tier of powered black helmets. The recipe to make it is the helmet itself and red paint resulting in a recursive recipe. You need the helmet to make the helmet.

Thats not a bug. You just coloring the helmet.

I know thats the case with the emblems. Except to get the helmet with the smaller eye-visors (Armet Mod 1) you need to use the same helmet with red paint. And it produces the EXACT same helmet. No change or even an emblem added

And checking the poweredheadgears.xml file confirms it. the recipe to make it(poweredorcahelm17) needs itself in the recipe.

The salvaged modular vest tends to clip through some vanilla clothing and makes the torso invisible when not wearing any clothing.
