I had to do this discussion because no on else did.


Something like longer range, less ammo, longer weapon switch and longer afterburn. idk

here is my go at it.

+ 3% higher critical hit chance

+ hold right-click to charge a high-powered fire blast that always crits

+ 10% longer attack range

- 10% less damage

- no airblast (that should be there even WITHOUT the charge up fire blast)

- charged fire requires full ammo and uses it all

- 50% less flamethrower ammo

you all just ignore that it's a long flamethrower
+50% reach
+20% longer afterburn
-50% ammo
+20% longer weapon switch
-can't take ammo for dispensers if deployed
shoots fire in arcs, meaning the fire is affected by gravity

+15% Airblast range
+10% Airblast force
-5% Airblast cost
Negative:
-95% Afterburn time
-33% Damage

Also 2nd idea, after reading that^^^above my post
Positive:
+33% Range
+10% Afterburn damage
+15% Damage
+5% Speed when active
Negative:
- 33% Afterburn time
- No airblast
+25% Ammo cost

What I was thinking in this 2nd idea, is that you use this for ambushes, so the ammo cost won't matter that much, also I had degreaser + axtinguisher in mind, so no airblast.
It's more used for direct fire damage and ambushes

Here is what I think the stats should be:

+20% Reach

+10% Airblast pushback

-50% ammo

-20% Damage to engineer buildings

+30% fire damage
+20% after burn damage
+15% burn time
+15% range
+5% damage to cloaked/descised spys

Pro tips if given these stats
-Great for offense due to the plus of over all damage and range
-Great for spy checking
-Bad with the rever user a.k.a the merica shotgun
-Good for burning faster classes like scout or charging demos
-Low air blast means hard time taking down demos with charge n' targe use flare gun and axtingusher for make up for that
