Odd interaction/crash with Digi's Advanced Welding mod (edge case)
So I was out on an early game salvage run to go scrap an unknown signal for parts when I thought "Why not just weld the full battery to the rover to keep its charge?" Anyway that's when the game crashed. I was able to recreate the crash in creative with the following conditions:

  • Small Grid 1 has a powered Survival Kit that is turned on
  • The point of connection between the two grids lies on the Survival Kit itself

Attempting to pick up Small Grid 2 and use the Advanced Welding mod to combine the two grids crashes the game. Using other means to the connect the grid (dropping Grid 2 onto Grid 1 without using GridPickup) does not crash the game, which I why I'm posting this here as opposed to Digi's page.

I pushed a update specifically for the advanced welding mod- Space engineers is having issues with updating your mods so you may have a outdated version

Hah nice. Carry on then, thanks for the great mod. I love using small powercells with a light tapped on as flashlights for mining runs.
