Bugs report here please
All reports are welcome.
When you find a bug in the first place, you need to load only this mod and no other to do all the testing again. This is to confirm if there is a bug in this mod or if it is a compatibility issue with some other mod.
If the problem persists, try to explain as best you can everything that happens and under what circumstances the error occurs.
If you cannot reproduce the bug when loading only this mod, the bug is not here.
Then you can load one by one the mods that you usually use and continue testing until the error occurs again. When you get the name of the mod that causes you problems, you can leave the name here. We also recommend contacting the author of the mod with the bug to report it.

Made a simple Zeus-Sandbox in Eden, on Altis
Placed down the NPC with Suit-on, proned... And it didnt work. Nor male or female version of suit, in any ground types.

UPD: The problem was with it being weared by NPC, remotely controlled by Zeus. Only way it works - is with the NPC checked with "playable" in Eden

This doesn't work on NPC, it does only work for player controlled units.

Hola Taurus me gustaria comentarte una idea, este mod es perfecto para emular el
systema de sigilo de este video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRvQa71E00k, mi pregunta es ¿habra manera de recrear esa misma mecanica usando tu mod , sin la necesidad del uso del traje? me gustaria proponertelo como una segunda version de octocamo , que atravez de un item por ejemplo relog , en vez de traje , se pueda implementar la textura del entorno sobre la piel del jugador, (excluyendo el gear que tenga)
asi poder simular el uso del entorno como camuflaje

Es muy interesante tu pregunta y me atrevo a adelantarte que por lo que pude ver en los archivos de imágenes vanilla del juego, algo así estuvo alguna vez en los planes de los creadores de Arma3. Pero ya sea por la complejidad que requería o el tiempo que tomaría implementarlo y teniendo en cuenta la prisa por hacer el lanzamiento del juego terminaron optando por no hacerlo.
Este mod, como estoy seguro que haz podido comprender, lo que hace es reemplazar la textura del uniforme por la textura del terreno en la que se encuentra ubicado el personaje en ese momento. Solo funciona con la textura del traje y no así con la de los chalecos y mochilas, que son objetos separados del vehículo central que es el traje o cuerpo. Este efecto tampoco podría ser aplicado a las cabezas, ya que, en este juego, también son objetos separados del cuerpo como las mochilas, cascos y chalecos. Por eso fue necesario crear un nuevo uniforme con un pasamontañas integrado para camuflar el cuerpo completo en este mod. Aunque sí tengo planeado lanzar una versión sin pasamontañas.

El efecto puede ser aplicado a cualquier traje junto con los brazos y piernas (que son parte del vehículo central), pero no a las cabezas.
Quedaría reemplazada la totalidad de la textura por la textura del suelo. El resultado (ya hicimos pruebas) no se ve como un uniforme manchado con barro, se ve como un uniforme hecho de barro.

Este mod chequea que tengas puesto alguna de las versiones del traje con tecnología Octocamo, pero podría hacerse perfectamente que en lugar de eso chequeara que hubiese en tu inventario un reloj vanilla, un reloj nuevo hecho especialmente para ese fin o cualquier otra cosa.

Pero convertirlo en un mod que solo afecte la piel (que una parte está en el traje y la otra en la cabeza) para hacer de cuenta que el jugador utiliza barro para camuflarse, no creo que sea posible con el script que utilizamos en este mod. Aunque no digo que sea imposible de alguna otra manera, con otros comandos diferentes. El problema es que los ojos, los dientes y la lengua también quedarían cubiertos con la textura del suelo, ya que se encuentran en mismo archivo con la piel del rostro. Toda esa textura quedaría reemplazada por la correspondiente al terreno y el resultado no sería el que tu buscas, sino más bien el de un monstruo de barro.

Si fuera posible hacer algo como lo que tu quieres, habría que hacer una textura nueva para el rostro que corresponda con los alrededores de cada rincón de cada mapa disponible para el juego... y te puedo asegurar que son miles de texturas. (Creo que en el juego del video solo deben tener una, dos o tres texturas de barro diferentes, no creo que contemplen mas terrenos) Pero de cualquier manera el nivel de dificultad para programar un mod como ese sería muy alta y demandaría muchísimo tiempo.

Does this mod require arma 3 apex or something? i cant find the suit in the arsenal, searched and its not there

It is very strange what you tell me, you should see the suit in the uniforms section of the virtual arsenal or in editor under special forces and you should find it with the name "Octocamo ...." It is also easy to see it since next to the name you will see the logo of the mod with the image of something resembling an octopus. What I imagine has happened is that you subscribed to the mod but forgot to load it when starting your game.
Playing it in Eden editor on virtual reality and other maps along with ACE and improved melee system, it turns totally bulletproof on either player or AI,.but running it alone will be okay.

There is no reason in this mod for that to happen. I have already tried to reproduce this bug and I have not been able to do so.
So the bug is somewhere else, because with "ace" and "Improved Melee System" any soldier with an Octocamo Suit dies from a few shots.
I take this opportunity to remind you that it is not allowed to modify or extract any part of this mod and reupload it as part of another.
Using various mods that radically modify the way Arma3 works can lead to various bugs, and modifying third-party scripts without fully understanding how they work can result in unexpected behavior.
After several tests with the mentioned mods I have come to the conclusion that the bug is not in this mod. And there are not incompatibility bulletproof bug playin with this mod, "Improved Melee System" and "ace".

There is no conflict with any of the mods @760293208 have reported. There are more than 110,000 mods published in the workshop, I am definitely not going to look for which of all those mods there is a conflict with. If you have a conflict with one of the mods you use, you must identify which one it is and report it.

ACE 3.15.0 compatibility (specifically Medical) is again totally broken:

1) vanilla game with/without optional DLC's: works as intended, you ain't tanking entire 30-bullet mags.
2) same as #1 but with CBA enabled: works as intended, you ain't tanking entire 30-bullet mags.
3) same as #2 but with ACE and ACE Medical enabled: immortal, no damage whatsoever (will flinch and bleed (visually only) when shot as intended, though), no ACE Medical effects whatsoever, but if you're shot while moving you fall to the ground as intended. The instant you undress the suit: works like #1 and #2.

I checked the RPT file (https://paste.gg/p/rautamiekka/02f390d53e9642868782b32d92a6b47c) after running the game with the debug mode enabled from the launcher: **all the hitpoints are marked as bad by ACE Medical.** This is another instance of the same problem that was/became fixed a long time ago.

And CBA complains about lack of CBA XEH (Extended Event Handlers) support, but I doubt the mod has any use for them to begin with.

Apart from those: the SQF code is very messy+repetitive and makes many unnecessary (even expensive) checks, could be way simplified and make use of new/better scripting commands.

When using this suit in a multiplayer server, players and AI who wear the suit for long enough become invincible, Units have damage on, but become impossible to kill unless they are forced dead. Not sure if ACE is breaking it, I can send my mod list... Discord is .pyro._
