You know, as soon as I read this, I went to reply right away with a couple of maps you can try out... but then I realized I actually didn't know any maps that have radiation zones / triggers.

It seems like it's a rare damage type!

The only maps I can think of are some of the maps from Half-Life 2
Mainly the Water Hazard levels, how the water turns into radioactive muck for some stretches.

I'll go look for some custom maps in the meantime....
If I can't find any good ones, well.... I have always been meaning to learn how to use Hammer.

If you have Half-Life 2: Episode 2, you can try out this really neat and scenic map.

There is a room all the way at the bottom of the facility with a nuclear reactor in it, if you step inside and press the button on the console in the wall, you will lift up some control rods and irradiate the entire room!

I just tested my armor against it and it does protect you, at least for a little while, maybe it can buy you enough time to escape the horrors of radiation!
