Let's face it yes this is a survival game but still, the speed at which stuff wears out is really annoying
Thanks for this mod
like atheltic shoes and dress shoes go out real fast still like vanilla
I'll add it to the list. We already have reduction to tool damage from mining rocks. Which tool/action do you suggest be the next priority?
They should be lasting about 2x as long as without the KFI mod. The way the mod works as-is, it changes the damage per step from 0.035 to 0.015, so just over 1/2 damage compared to vanilla. The amount of HP per shoe type has not changed, here are the vanilla values for reference.
Jogging Shoes have 50 HP.
Dress Shoes have 60 HP.
Athletic shoes have 90 HP.
Hiking Boots have 140 HP.
Hiking Boot Lowcut 120 HP.
Working boots 120 HP.
Jungle Boots 150 HP.
Military Boots 180 HP.
Combat Boots 160 HP.
My army boots are over 20 years old, worn but still serviceable. Perhaps I should cut the damage per step in half again? Thoughts?
