What do you think about gamespot?
@SERV3 I mean they have their weekly mod reviews, I might be able to... you know send a link to your collection...

I also got tired of taking up your coment section, so I'll start a discussion on this one.

@That Guy From That Place TGFTP I love the idea. I'm not sure how well it will go down as they're cheat mods but I'll send them a link anyway once I've finished the collection. :)

I mean if you don't think it will work out thst well, then you could possibly at one point turn it into a quest.
You know something like: find all of the books throughout riverwood. But don't give quest markers.
I think it would be alright considering if someone doesn't want a certain skill, they can just make it legendary.

Nice idea. I never thought of a quest. Maybe I could do something like 'discover what's inside an ancient dungeon' where you have to ask specific people about the dungeon and then go there yourself so you find the chest full of books and can decide which ones you would like. I suppose a quest would make it seem like less of a cheat so I'll give it a go once I've finished off the books. :)

If you're thinking of having to ask someone, then you should make them ask either a random/useless person, or the greybeards.

Why? because the greybeards are hairy old men...

@CaptainPrunes Haha. I'll probably do something like that in a quest mod I'm planing. It'll be about recovering people from Tuonela, the Finnish mythical underworld. As for the Perkless Skyrim mod, I've decided to use a menu system instead of having different books as it will be less confusing. :)

What do you think would be a good first mod thats easy to make?

You know one to just start getting used to the kit. ♀ Ƶi ΓÄ☻ ☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○

I usually recommend starting with a simple mod which changes the stats of a weapon. Simply duplicate the weapon in the object view and edit it to change the stats. Take a look at creationkit.com as it has loads of tutorials on how to use the CK. :)

the problem with the creation kit for me is how the camera moves. I often get completely lost when trying to make a small island or dungeon for testing things.

@CaptainPrunes Yeah that's a common problem. A solution is to select the object you want to rotate around. The camera controls just need a lot of getting used to.
