Hey peeps I managed to make it work with the dlc somewhat.
The first thing you need to do is delete the map data folder containing the geographical region files.
reason for this is that the game for some reason isnt able to recognize the custom made hoc regions anymore.
After this you need to go to common\culture\innovations and make the following changes to this file: HoC_add_cultural_innovations. You need to mass edit the region requirements since we deleted the geographical region files. the region requirement looks like this: region = hoc_...
bassicaly you need to change all of them that start with hoc and find a replacement region in the vanilla geographical region file that you can find in the base game files on the same place. This obviously takes some time depending on your skills. but for me and im not even a modder it took 10 minutes so it should be fine.
Now the last thing is in the same file. For some reason the game gives a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of errors from required cultures used for the bookmarks+mod. If you use the bookmarks+ mod you need to find out which cultures the mod deletes in the new update which are most of the subcultures but not all of them. if you dont use the mod bookmarks+ you can delete all of the requiered cultures added for bookmarks+. They are easy to find because the mod creater already shows which one by adding #for bookmarks+ behind the culture requirements.

If you don it succesfully you will be able to play and use the mod again Im not an expert so there might still be some problems that I havent found yet but for me so far the error log is mostly resolved and all the innovations and MA are working again
