no damage in survival? SP
not sure if this is user error on my part (setup, conflict or game settings) or a bug in the mod but my defence turrets (the one with the purple laser. idk its name) isn't actually doing anything... it shoots and there is a beam and particle effect but the targeted ship is unharmed. the turret is inside an admin safezone (damage is disabled but shooting is on) and the target is not. not sure exactly what the allow damage setting does though. does it prevent things in it from DOING damage or TAKING damage?

It does a very low amount of damage for me, you might be mistaking it for no damage. Have it target something with small blocks light armor

By low amount of damage I mean maybe 0.5 or 1% of health from a light armor small block 100 integrity

wow. old late response there XD. i think i did get it working and it was something to do with game settings or safezone settings. i might have had damage disabled and i had assumed that only applied to received damage, not dealt damage. not sure though as again this was MONTHS ago... XD
