People like you enjoying the mod and getting this kind of feedback is what it's all about ;)
Thank you friend!
However, when I installed the mod I did not go to Hamerok immediately. But when I finally made my way there, I came from the west and did go to it rather quickly...but only to find that all the trolls were lying dead inside the Stronghold, with 3/4 of the civillian orcs slain (Only Bard and mage / enchanter were alive. One male Warrior also was dead. So yeah, maybe lock the Stronghold itself too if you don't want those trolls to be further away. Cause it kind of sucks that I neither got to kill them myself AND that they killed all those orcs, especially the civillians @___@
Though, gonna turn off the mod now, load the save from after I found it, save without Hamerok and then reload, hoping to be able to kill the trolls before anyone is slaughtered.
I just hope this won't break anything @___@
Maybe create a nearby camp with the maingate key lying on the floor or in a chest. Though, a chest would be kind of...strange for a troll, wouldn't it ?

There's one fella with beggar lines though and considering how "charitable" orcs are towards the weak, i don't see a wretch being allowed to live in a stronghold.. period.
It's a relatively minor thing though, i gather having adequate storage space is not appealing to everyone but i happen to enjoy that.
A bigger thing would, in fact, be the prison.
You'll note there is but one orc prison guard in the game, an attractive specimen in markarth's sidna mines whom obviously is not part of a stronghold anymore.
Orcs don't take prisoners or dabble in cowardice like torture, they kill their enemies...
What I think I'll do is put a journal in his pocket.. Thius has given me some food for thought, any ideas on how it could possibly be right ;)
There's allso potential in your suggestion that the stronghold was built on the remnants of perhaps a fortress, the tribe is numerous enough to perhaps be one of the oldest lineages and
lore suggests orcs settled in skyrim before the nords did so this could be like a parent tribe to the smaller strongholds dotting the map.
Plenty of options to explore and thanks for sharing your work, i'm really enjoying it.
