Current Progress Topic (On Hold)
Due to serious burnout me and co-author has and HAR complications, progress on the mod is on hold. My darling alien fruit kitties are still cherished behind the scenes but keeping up with versions is currently tiring to the mind. Maybe if this burnout ends, I'll return to them, or at least create a Xenotype

Current ideas:
Bitsou Trees and Fruit - This plant is a critical part of Lemolim culture, while Lemolims are omnivores, this is one of the few fruit bearing trees of Malicate, and was a critical part of Lemolim diet. And like Lems, it's also rather invasive, but growing and cultivating alot of these unnaturally requires alot of care (and will require a high plants skill). Right now we're in the sketch phase of it, and don't have any concrete stats planned for it, other than it being rather exotic and probably valuable like chocolate and may require the cocoa research at least.

Xenophobia Tweaks - While Lemolims are generally xenophobic, I feel this should only be a single (strong) forced roll for when they're an adult, while they may be taught not to trust other races during childhood, I feel their young minds wouldn't fully grasp xeno resentment until they fully grow up with it. While in lore, it's partially part of their nature, they do have some rather good (and not so good) reasons to hate xenos. On top of that, just because Lems may be Xenophobic shouldn't mean they're simply okay with butchering/eating human meat, it might make them less inclined to eating it (like bug meat). I might nerf Xeno cannibalism keeping it to only cannibals and bloodlusters if I ever return to modding.

Psychic Tweaks - Seeing that their powers literally involve their souls, it would make sense that they would have latent psychic advantages/disadvantages. It's already impossible for them to have the Psychically Deaf trait, but I wanna go further than that. Due to their natural affinity with plants, I might bump up their pruning speed for Gauranlen trees ever so slightly. Lemolims are rather fragile creatures, having some dryad defenders could prove really helpful.

Scenario Tweaks - While Lemolim Arrivals will still ONLY have the autopistol and the clothes/gear on their backs, I think I should make it more story friendly and add ship chunks across the map and maybe a goody or two. Lemolim tribals seem rather fine though I could add one or two more lems. I don't know if I'll add a third scenario or not, maybe a more easier one if I do.

Soulfire rework - Soulfire is actually the capacity of the Soul powers of Lems. It fuels other powers such as Soulmend (the regen powers), Soulbeam (laser powers, though too OP), Soulgrow (planned Gauranlen tweaks listed above as well as plant harvesting speed/yield), and various other abilities. It is also mostly the reason why Lemolims are cursed with lower cold resistance, so maybe it should be permanent hediff that causes most cold related issues though some could still be part of their biology. MAYBE in the future I'll create a whole Soulfire gene+powers using genes from Biotech.

Lemoman - In lore, Lemolims are indeed compatible with most other xeno races, especially humans, if they get along that is. Seeing that the Biotech DLC is going to include children and reproduction, assuming HAR actually ports itself to 1.4 and allows for human/alien hybriding, we could possibly be seeing xenohumans with Lemolim Soulfire powers. But don't get your hopes up, as this is a rather big stretch on possible goals, as I don't even know what 1.4 and Biotech will actually bring to the table yet.
