How do you tier up tameable bosses?

I have recently tamed a basic Element Manticore, but how do I tier it up to basic and onwards? I saw on the discord that you are supposed to receive a quest to tier it up, but I did not receive any quests.

Same as all other dinos
The quest was removed LONG ago
They completely behave like all other dinos, make the tier up token in the soul grinder with their paragon souls
