Sorry budd, You don't use items on the workshop. Basically tf2 works in an easy manner of
1: upload to the workshop
2: the upload is voted on
3: valve looks at it and scoffs in approval
4: they add it to the game for 10$/into a crate
5: you buy it.
Or the maker makes a reskin for certain items, otherwise you're out of luck!
