The Third Impact Overhaul [Update 2.25 : You Can (Not) Advance]

It's been a while since the mod has been updated, and the next update will hopefully start development in the next week or so after I release a few more NPC mods. So, my question to you is, what would you want added?

Here's what's in the current roadmap:
  • Graphical improvements.
  • Gore replacement assets + Overhaul the current ones.
  • Replace Lunite related assets.
  • Replacement of the lunar cultists.
  • Replace the current crystal animation with reversed AT Fields.
  • Replace the Moonlord Pet related items.

Am I missing anything you want adding, or want improving apon?

Rei III now replaces the moonlord music.
Imo it's a way more suitable track for a video game boss battle.
... that and it won't get me slammed for copyright.
Maybe replace some of ml's grunts with rei's clones laughing or something similar to it?

Also maybe replace ml's eyeball projectiles and blue lasers with something else like the souls of the people being sucked up during instrumentality.

Also great mod, I will probably never play terraria without it lol

You cannot only partly change something like this, they all use the same spritesheet.
If your request is specifically change some, then unfortunately, I cannot do that.

They are projectiles, you can't change the projectile type.

1. I meant the sounds that ML makes, are they all one audio file? idk but I thought it would be cool to hear rei's laughs or something similar like any generic creepy anime laugh sound effect.

2. I meant replacing the projectile image, ML's eyeball missiles and other blue projectiles seem out of place imo, so editing the images to make them red or replacing the image with something else seemed possible to me but idk if it is.

Either way it's still an amazing resprite as is, I'm just a nitpicky person lol


P.S. I did some digging in the game files and I found ML's sound effects:

NPC_Hit_57 - when ML gets hit

NPC_Killed_61 - when ML dies

Zombie_92 - when ML spawns

The rest are random sounds he makes:

I think you were planning on replacing the sound files anyways cause I saw them there in the sounds folder and also I just noticed the eyeball projectiles were already replaced, I just think 452 looks weird compared to the others.

Ah, I misinterpreted what you meant by the rei creaming stuff, I thought you meant images not sounds. I'll have to look into it based on the stuff you've given, so thanks!

As for the red projectiles, I can tell you the terraria shader doesn't like red for bosses like the moonlord, for the moonlord is a bit funky with red transparency, but I'll investigate it next time I do development on them - as the mass produced Eva's will be getting a clean up at some point.

Third Impact's left arm is mechanical, just like Warlord Prime's.
