Hey, so I was never notified by steam about this discussion so I apologize for this very late reply.
Made me chuckle how you described the event but the idea (and joke) was that no matter what you do Stalin dabs on you and escapes the with the options just changing the time of it happening i.e. he escaped before you could hang him. Maybe I should better paraphrase it in the event but I was probally too lazy to make a diffferent news event for each event.
